212 games in Liiga. Obviously more of a role player, bottom 6 at that standard but stepping down to a similar standard in Denmark he scored good points. Looks a decent signing. In isolation his size isn't an issue unless for a 3rd year in a row we add another 7 under 6ft.

Top scorer in Denmark. I’m sure you will give us some good reasons why he will fail. 3rd top scorer actually 😉 Top goal scorer. I think that's what Panthers & awooga mean.

I think the only constant is Black and surely that isn't a big influence on players? That said if he was treated badly, I can 100% understand not wanting to chance it back at the same place, even if all the staff have changed. Seems all quite bizarre to me I think Black is what its all about. Purse strings and looking after players all goes back to him. You can only do what the budget allows. Players with partners having to share accomadation. Not looking after your top Brits during covid(furlough etc). Bills, cars. Players having to replace their owm white goods etc. As much as GM the GM had a bad rep with sponsors and fans I think he was far better at getting more out of black considering their long standing relationship and fighting for player care.

Really dissapointing to not get Perlini but there are still options that make this o.k.
Give Jackson Whistle the number 1 spot and play with 15 outskating imports.

One of the very few things Panthers got right last year was the goalie set up. Using the 2 Lions guys worked really well.

"Both players will get a lot of ice-time with the Blaze, with Archie playing a top-six role which is more than we could guarantee them. "This would be good for their development and we hope to see them back at the Panthers in the future." Does no-one read the releases? "Allowed to leave"? Maybe they wanted to, given what Panthers are planning? You can't sign every Brit and expect them all to be happy? Would you stay for less ice-time and less development? They both need proper minutes to develop, which it sounds like they wouldn't be guaranteed here, but will be at Blaze. Who's said they will never play for Panthers ever again? Life goes on... Thats certainly the key with Archie. He was never going to get a top 6 role. He's been offered full time EIHL so it's fair enough. We can however be a bit more critical of the Hopkins one. As a forward he'd have got regular minutes. He's already got enough talent to be on a set line. Add in his potential and for me he would've been better than Kelsall.

All depends how the Brit pack is finished off but Jack in particular is a real dissapointment. Archie has bags of potential but probably still wasn't going to get a full time regular slot here. Would have needed to have been on a 2 way again. The 22 man squad would've really helped here.
Let's see how it all ends up, but i'd have taken Hopkins over Kelsall all day long.

But keeping them here on limited ice time could easily result in them leaving like Joe Hazeldine did. I’d rather we loan them to another EIHL team because they’d be under contract with us, get regular ice time/improve and then return to us after a season or two. It’s also worth noting that both were born and raised in Nottingham and I’d highly doubt they’d find Coventry better than here This is a consequence of increasing the import limit. It only leaves room for 5 Brits per squad, we have Kelsall, Betteridge and Tetlow back, I hope Tetlow has improved as he was nothing but a liability last time round, I would have much preferred to keep Archie. One of the two had better be Perlini, and please God not Myers. Also anyone know what's happening with Ferarra? Well if its 5 on match day 1 will needed for the back up netminder so there would only be 1 spot left. That needs to be Perlini and not Myers. If it ends up staying as 14 imports then it should be Jack over Myers with Perlini. Unless they have another suprise lined up. Fererra is an interesting one. Do we give hin another season? Perlini and Fererra as the last 2(asuming 14) wouldn't be bad at all, but Fererra would need to get back to his best sharpish.

I'm not fussed tbh. Panthers are black so that makes sense I suppose. Sticking to the 3 colour palette, rather than throwing in greens, reds, browns, etc as the mood takes us, is more important to me. Robin Hood Green & Friar Tuck brown 🤣🤣🤣

I really hope not but it'd be very Panthers to let one of the hottest young prospects go in order to keep a past his best British vet in Myers, so I wouldn't be suprised.

Devils confirm they have taken Flames place in this season's CC After Sheffield turned it down too. Suprised by them.

If import numbers remain the same, then fine. If they are increasing, then I'm a bit more worried. Yep. At this stage it's all dependant on what comes next. Perlini and Hopkins with 14 imports is ok. It could be 15 imports with only 1 left to sign. That could end up being Myers. Vastly different end products. This is all based on the assumption that Ferrera wont return also.

Now this one is a good signing. A really good two-way player who was sorely missed all over the ice last season. Be interesting to see if Kelsall returns, now Ollie is back, if Myers stays and with the continued development of Hopkins. Has there been a formal announcement regarding the 15 imports this coming season yet? From where we are now the ideal would be, Tetlow, Ollie, Perlini & Hopkins with the Brit back up the same arrangement as last season.

That was probably Neil in disguise. From what I've been told it was Aarron Lord ex of cats whiskers & Jono Bullards mate who made those comments (Apologies if im wrong) If that's the case maybe he thinks if he doesn't say anything critical of Panthers he may end up eventually getting a job with the club at something like his mate. Or maybe he's just easily entertained and satisfied.. Now I dont know Aaron at all but i'd guess if it was hin that there was more context to it and perhaps he's been a little mis-quoted. Maybe something along the lines of... I dont mind us being mid table if it's clear we are spending on par and at least being entertained in the short term, whilst we build a team that compete. Something like many of us said before last season when we thought at least we'd be entertained if we wern't winning. Perhaps talking about seeing progession? I just dont see him saying something as simple as he doesn't mind if we are mid table and not winning.

All i've seen is some bits in twitter.
Sadly those topics shared were largely all too trivial so not sure if anything more important was asked.
The onea Ive picked up on were people basically asking for freebies for ST holders along with cheaper STs. That largely answered with talk of higher operating costs.
Fans complaining about players rushing off ice to get home from Belfast instead of waving to them.
One fan commented that they dont care if we win or are mid table 🙈
Somebody talking about youth players but still need to win.
Then a discusion on moving block 19 barmy army to 14 to help spread the noise better(God I hope not). That wasnt answered by Omar.
3 players already signed. 2 we know, 1 is an import to be announced soon(confirmatiin of Caruso?). In talks with another Brit who played at worlds(youd guess Perlini).
Just snippets of what i've picked up on so not much detail really. It would be good to get the full details published by the club for sure.

Panthers sign one of only 5 "true Brit" D men in the GB team and still some complain? The mind boggles... Tetlow looked plenty good enough to be a top 4 D man last week. His year in Finland has done him good. Who else could we get? Mosey Richardson Ruopp Jones Philips O'Connor Halbert Maybe Mosey or BOC but that wouldn't go down well with some on here either. If we sign Ollie and Brett then that is a massive positive. Tetlow with a coach who invests with him would be great to see Considering I think 3 of those arnt EIHL Brits it shows how small the pool of talent is. Veey little chance we get any of those anyway.

I know he's not a huge favourite of some but I think it's a decent signing based on the assumption he's improved in his season away and his GB performances. Clearly the GB team see him as one of the best 3 or 4 actual Brits in the country. He’s better than Moore/Hazeldine and how many better British Dmen are there that we can realistically get? Exactly. He is much needed. Joe Hazeldine is the only other id consider as getable and potentially better. The few youd consider better are nearing the end of their careers and will retire some time soon. Archie H will be very good based on what we've seen. We need to retain him on a 2 way because he is a hot prospect, but at the minute he is just that, a prospect. With a 22 man bench size youd want him as 7th Dman with plenty of ice time when appropriate. We dont have that so a similar role to last year is ideal. I was impressed overall with Tetlow at the worlds. Both in the 2 games I saw live and the others on TV.
