To be fair she was answering the thread's starting post's question and didn't really say much that many Panthers fans have already said on this thread. Not exactly trolling.

Well the answer would be: The Stingrays The French The Austrians The Danes The Capitals The Phoenix What's next on the list? All this thread was ever asking was which team was most likely to finish ahead of the Panthers. If any. Or would it be the Panthers who would be most likely to stop the Panthers from winning the league. Was there a PC or JC who must stay healthy. I wasn't complicated. It wasn't saying that no team could beat the Panthers on any given day. It just asked who Panthers fans felt was their biggest danger. If a question like this was posted on a Chelsea board there would have been a discussion about Chelsea's season so far as well as the merits of Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal. Some would have confidently said 'nobody' while others would have raised the subject of injuries to key players (like Cech ofr instance). I was expecting something similar. A reasoned, rational debate on a sports forum. Instead it seems this thread may have directly played a part in the defeat v Edinburgh. A defeat that has led to people being ready to throw themselves of the nearest cliff. Reasoned, rational discussion ofn the Cage? Those were the days.

Reasoned, rational discussion ofn the Cage? Those were the days. Your choice of wording for the thread title inadvertently scuppered your hopes of that. Unfortunately they came across as being a little arrogant, implying that Panther's winning the League was almost a formality.

Nail hit firmly on head.
Panthers biggest rivals for the League or something similar wouldn't have sounded quite so arrogant as "Who can stop the Panthers?"

Reasoned, rational discussion ofn the Cage? Those were the days. Your choice of wording for the thread title inadvertently scuppered your hopes of that. Unfortunately they came across as being a little arrogant, implying that Panther's winning the League was almost a formality. 'No-one can stop the Panthers' would have been an arrogant statement. I wrote a question, not a statement. Which was then followed-up by the text below. Yes I added a twist of lemmon in the headline but it was still nothing more than a 'who now looks like winning the league'.

The title, combined with the content of your first post implied that you thought that Panthers were set to run away with the league title. On re-reading that post now, I can see that's not what it actually says, but it is what I, and (it seems) almost everyone else that's posted on this thread, thought you meant. I did actually think it seemed out of character, but it is what I thought you meant. A popular statement used on management and communication courses is: "A message has not been communicated unless it is understood by the receiver." I think this thread is a good illustration of this. Anyway, as this thread seems to have turned into an argument over who means what, rather than a discussion on "Who can stop the Panthers?" I think it's run its course. Let's hope we're in a position for you to ask the same question in February, and let's hope you get the responses you're after
