well, very impressed with most of our teams play tonight, looked good.
we seem to have both alot of size and a hell of alot of speed as well
think lindsey was bored at the other end for the most part. on goal he could do nothing about and another, well yeah what was it lol, made a couple of very good saves, but overall needs to be tested more, too hard to judge on that performance.
Danny meyers also looked very very good tonight, have got alot of condidence in him now, and if he does make a mistake, he has speed to get back

Pleased with what i saw tonight.
The stand outs for me tonight was Krajicek, this guy looks even fitter and slightly more composed than last year, a joy to watch.
Meyers, this kid impressed me to the max, a big lad who pace in abundance, looked so at ease at the back too.
Mcaslan will be a key player for us, looks to have everything, once hes settled will be a player to win us the big games... hopefully, took his goal superbly.
Steve Simoes looks a cracking find, scored the goal of the night, picked the puck up from Lindsay and skated the length of the rink and buried it threw a couple of decent checks too, like the look of him
Top marks to shmyr for jumping off the bench and going with Rushton, this guy is someone we ve been missing., and suprising is for his size hes very mobile and a reat puck carrier too, Ellis has got a good un there.
Lindsay did alright pulled off 3 great saves but the bees 2nd goal.i felt he should have cleaned up , .
Corey and Jan are going to be high points scoring d men this year thats for sure, going on their performaces tonight, how many shots between them , the problem is, theres going to be a few turnovers too which has me slightly worried.
Clarke seems back to his old hungry self, he looks a in better shape to and much quicker.
And in Cooke we have a little (or in his case big) gem there. The rebound king.

Finally got back, how boring are motorways? pah anyway, good game, we passed the puck perfectly on the whole and our speed was fantastic to see! Simoes goal was top notch, taking on about 3 players with ease before hitting it hard and low, Meyers looks superb, great speed for a big man, nice to see Cooke getting a few as well. Great atmosphere from the Panthers fans, made loads of noise and put the home fans to shame even if they had 2 drums above us , got talking to a Bees fan when we migrated to the home end for the 3rd and he was full of praise for Ellis and the way he brings on the young players and thought we were gonna score more tonite!

Was an impressive performance i thought. Ones that impressed me most were Simoes for his all round work rate and two way play (Oh and he hits anything that moves! ).. McAslan who looks fantastic on the puck and looks to have everything in his game.. Shmyr stepped to the plate when Blaz was getting cheap shot straight off the bench to protect his team mate also is a very good skater and hard worker for his size.. Meyers i was worried about as 4th D Man but tonight he filled me with confidence he had a blinding match and seems to be a very quick skater. One that worries me a bit is Lindsay seems a bit dodgy and to fall to sleep every now and again.. Let a sloppy 2nd goal in i thought The ZT is going to be a nightmare i feel and will only last one season.. Its ridiculous the game is stop and start all the time can get very boring when you play the lesser teams in the league. Simoes threw 3 big hits and they were all called as penalties un fairly in my opinion. Also i'm liking the team spirit we seem to have with them all laughing and joking together and sticking up for each other which his good we not had that for 3 seasons. THUMBS UP FROM ME!!

nah ZT will be good and will be good for the game, when the realise that hitting isn't a penalty and the player realise that you ethier have to hit the player or let him go unless you want a penalty

cant say any more than whats been said really Team ethic is amazing, theres a real feeling of 'TEAM' Players mentioned by others... I could repeat, but I wont... Stevens and Clarkie are speedy fast, Jan and Mattus are same as last year, D looks solid and can bang away a few shots. Lindsay... cant agree with Tim more, I want to see him face some big shots in a 'real' game situation. Made some great saves but that last one was very sloggy, right through a gaping 5 hole. My voice is shot... as is Keefes.... thing that ruined the evening? Someone telling me my driving was terrible and they were suprised I hadnt crashed! Gutted

Yep Again I agree with whats been said, Simmoes looked like he was playing in the stanley cup finals, 100% effort every shift.Seriously impressed! Mcaslan will the big game player and really everyone else looked like I expected as strange as that sounds. Cooke hasnt beefed up much but played really well and seems to be fitting into the systems and doesnt look like hes there to make up numbers at all this season. The only player who surprised me was Meyers, he can really skate and I honestly thought he would struggle as the 4th D man but he was not out of place in the slightest

AWOSOME!! 1 word to describe the match last night, The atmosphere was amazing and the team played brilliantly, the journey up and down was good aswell apart from ted and keefe picking on me in the car!! They asked if i was related to jade goody because i didnt know who this man was who is apparently famous!! Sang the whole was down there then slept most the way back!! Thanks Teddster! ;D Clarkie and kraicheck (SP) played really well and they Ryan Smhmyr really stood out aswell and supported the team he was playing in. Pluss Geoff waved to me! ;D yey! Well done boys!

anyone know what rod stevens is playing like, i have't heard a lot about him? For me hes still yet to get in his stride, on big ice like the NIC and Sheffield he will be a fantastic player but cudnt really have as much of an impact in a rink like Bracknell. Still very handy tho!

Everyone needs to give Evan Lindsay a couple of proper games before they judge. Ok, the 2nd goal was abit sloppy but other than that he made some brilliant saves and not many Keepers wouldve saved their first goal.
I aint saying he's any better than CC, but having only seen him once in a friendly I think we should wait before we start slagging him off.
