Just got back! Cracking game tonight, much better than Peterborough last year. Team spirit seemed really high tonight and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. Shmyr did not win the fight as it was stopped by the linesmen, if anything I would say he was the worst off (Only just though). Lindsay was in goal all night as well.

Did not have much to do for a lot of the game really. He made some really good saves when needed, however I personally thought that their 2nd was a very soft goal to let in through his legs!

Scorers were: McAslan (PP); Petricko (PP); Cooke (PP); Kraijcek (PP); Cooke (PP); Simoes. Apparently Bracknell had over 20 minor penalties, Panthers had 8.

I'm think the scorers were: 1 - McAslan 2 - Petricko 3 - Cooke 4 - Simoes 5 - Krajicek 6 - Neilson Was a good perfromance and what I found most encouraging was that we coped very well with the new ZT rules. Alot better than others. Was VERY impressed with Danny Meyers, Steve Simoes and Dave Clarke, who seems very sharpe and should knock quite a few goals in this season. Cooke seems to have bulked up abit and took his goals well. Simoes' goal was a corker as were Krajiceks and Neilsons, who both scored from the blueline. Edit: it now appears Neilson shot was tipped in by someone) Ryan Shmyr was doing what he was bought in to do, stick up for his team mates. Any time there was signs of trouble he was straight in there and even came off the bench to fight the fella who was trying to start a fight with Blaz. Luckily it was straight infront of the bench so he didnt have to go far. Overall, we played well, the guys were all laughing and joking together and we actually won some faceoffs! Neilson is a real character, firstly we were all giving some stick to guy Shmyr fought, and as Neilson lined up against him for a faceoff, he looked at us, smiled and pretended to drop the gloves, to which both players laughed. Then at the end of the game he came up to us and was high-5'ing everyone. Going to be quite a character it would seem.

Are Bracknell aware of the new ZT rules??
The home fans were giving Joy Tottman a rough ride for all the pens she was giving Bracknell, but frankly they deserved just about everyone.

It seems like the trip to Europe payed off. Our guys didnt get many PIMs at all, and will make some other teams pay who havent yet adjusted to the new rules. Fingers Crossed.

Goal of the night Simoes, what a goal that was! ;D
Great game, the players have a lot of pace, very good signs.
Also great atmosphere.
