Niagara falls where the falls are, are very nice, we went in winter 03` it was minus 20 !!!!
If you venture into Niagara, its very tacky, bit like blackpool
Anyway my next vacation isn t until next year when we go on our honeymoon ;D
Going to Aruba, a little island just north of South America and below the carribean

I'm off to Kenya and Tanzania for the summer... doing a safari and working in a school. Flying with Virgin Atlantic who've not been convincing so far!

Recently back from New York, (which included seeing the Rangers play twice), and off to Vancouver in August - fantastic place, would highly recommend it!

We recently had a week in Majorca, real good rest. Going on a 'weekender' on the Aroura in a couple of weeks to see if we really do want to go on a 2 week cruise and then got a couple of weeks in September to fill and apart from that we go off in our caravan as many weekends we can.

India in November - which is going to be a novel experience - as whilst I'm used to sea, sand and rain, I'm not used to having hot sun thrown into the mix!
Got a couple of flying visits to the Lakes and the East Coast sorted for the summer to do some horse riding. Hopefully squeeze in a few more as well.

Apart from the obvious what else is there to do at niagara falls? Not really - as 'The Mule' said, the town itself on Canadian side is v Blackpool-like! There really isn't much there - but at the Falls you can obviously go to see the falls (American and the much more impressive horseshoe falls), do the 'Journey Behind the Falls' and - if running - the Maid of the Mist boat trip. Would def kill a couple of hours. If you're based in TO it will take a few hours to get there and back too. (Quicker to do an 'Falls trip' where you hope on a minibus with a guide, they usually arrange lunch at some hotel in Niagara and visit a vineyard on the way) but it's cheaper to do the public bus from TO - takes hours though! You've prob got this all in with your holiday though from sounds of things. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I'm off to Pisa for 4 days in early June, then a long weekend at Lumley Castle (near Durham) at end of June. For the main holiday, early July for 2 weeks we're off to a private villa on the Costa Tropical in Spain. This is the unspoilt part 100 miles east of Malaga, where we can relax, drink beer/wine and eat free Tapas. Roll on June and July........ ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

There used to be a small ice hockey museum at Niagara. Not sure of the exact location, but I think it was up the main "blackpool" type street and then left at the top. The only downside to it was a Steelers scarf.
Helicopter trips over the falls are pretty awesome, and well worth it.

Fave holiday ever has to be New York. I would LOVE to live there. I have also enjoyed excellent holidays in Mexico (Cancun x 2 & Puerto Vallarta) & Cuba (Cayo Coco & Havana). No holidays this year for us, as money is needed for other things.

All Italians are pasta eating surrender monkeys, although I have to agree on the Garda thing. Have you tried Croatia, very similar to Garda and the Italian Riviera of old.

Hoping to go to Italy (finally!) in September/October time - just not sure where to go. Considering a split holiday - some time in a City and some time out in the countryside. I HATE New York - full of the rudest, most obnoxious people I've encountered and the City is noisy, dirty and smelly. Apparently I am invisible there by the number of doors dropped in my face and the number of people that ignored me - oh and I nearly got run over by a hot dog seller!!! However, it is the best Xmas shopping destination I've found anywhere, so after swearing I would never go there again - I went back! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Off to the Lakes in a few weeks - Kendal this time, so will check out Windermere and er - any recommendations?

Ullswater Wastwater Wasdale Head Keswick (if you have a sweet tooth go to Ye Olde Friars of Keswick) Scafell Pike, if you're a walker! Incredible views from the top. Worth the sore legs the morning after!

I found New Yorkers to be amongst the friendliest on earth - it's certainly a damn site cleaner than our cities too.
