Still no news on which channel will be broadcasting NFL games this season. If any. Is it a no-go on Sky? As it stands. Notice the lack of NFL in the promo for Sept sport. But I'm sure we'll see the NFL on sky. It may only be the Sunday afternoon games with 5 having SNF and ESPN grabbing MNF. We'll know soon.

Has Seymour reported to Oakland yet or is he still AWOL?

Has Seymour reported to Oakland yet or is he still AWOL? He's had two good games so far; him and Ellis were dank against San Diego. The D is standing tall but the O is hot and cold because of JaMarcus. Big game for the Pats v ATL this weekend. Should be a good. Early days but the AFC looks weak compared to the NFC.

Some impressive performances. Dallas looked really good again and right now they look the best of the NFC. The JETS look solid but I can't see them winning in SoCal.
That Arizona game was amazing. Two terrible secondaries and two outstanding offensive performances. We could get a repeat when Az got to NO.
As for the Ravens, they showed the Pats to be what they are; not that good anymore. It was almost like the Ravens wanted to make a point. They can beat Indy on Sunday.

I agree that they aren't the force that they once were, but it didn't help with Welker out injured & both Brady & Moss playing hurt. It was the Raven's game to lose in all honesty.

Brady has not been the same all season. Whether he just needed a season back or whether it is a long-term thing we'll have to see. Carson Palmer has never been the same since his injury.
Moss went MIA in a big game. He's got form for that. Welker was a massive loss but that of course doesn't explain the Pats' poor run-stuffing.
It'll be an interesting off season for the Pats. BB's got a lot of rebuilding to do and he can't afford another poor draft class. The Dolphins and JETS will challenge for the AFCE crown.

I think the injury to Welker is a concern too given it's both ACL & MCL. That could really affect him.

WW will probably go on PUP for the first half of next season. An injury like that takes at least 9 months to heal. Realistically he won't be back for the start of the season. He may well miss all of the season.
You have to remember his role in the team and need for speed and sharp cuts. He already takes a beating so they can't risk him playing too soon. Endelman looked decent though. He did a damn sight more than Moss!
**************
Tom Cable will find out whether he stays or is fired this week. Chances are he's gone.

ACL injuries in general take a year to heal, and then another year to get back to what it was before the injury.
Donny Mac is 2 years from his, so hopefully next year... Brady has 6 or so more months to go. Welker is done for next season, just like Jamaal Jackson, the Eagles centre.

It took Michael Bush 2 years to recover too.

Do you not think it was Brady making Endelman look good? All he would have to do is get half a step open, and Brady would deliver the ball on target.

Endelman worked hard to lose his man and TB then got him the ball. I would not say TB made specially good passes. Endelman did have some drops. TB had a poor game. ********* First the Raiders, now USC. Why have we brought back Lane Kiffin. I hope his dad comes with him.

Well, Baltimore are out. The NFL season is done for me yet again. Don't really care who wins it all, as long as it is not the Cowboys.

There were 3 blowouts last week with only GB and Az saving the weekend. Similarly this week we had 3 comfortable wins with only the JETS making a game of it on the road.

Favre...oh dear. I guess the Vikes forgot that he is the NFL career leader in INTs and what a stupid time to throw one. Cost them a place in the superbowl. On the note of Edelman, not content with having the fastest white guy in the league the Pats went and found the 2nd fastest as well.....

So the Saints win the Superbowl. Congrats to them. NFL combine at the end of the month, Free Agency in the first week of March, Draft in April, then mini-camps... Woooo.
