I think Edinburgh will rely on damage limitation most or all of the evening. Panthers 5 - 1 Caps with scorers,in no particular order:-
Ivan Clarke Kalmikov Craighead McKenna

I am going to go for a 5 - 0. I think Curtis deseves a shut out as the performances in recent games (if not all season) have warented better results.
The player who needs to score is Kimmy. He is on a little of a Cold streak, he's played well over recent games and his work setting up the goals / work along the boards has been good but he needs a goal before he startsa to doubt himself.
Clarke x 3 Kimmy Ivan

Well Dave Trofimenkoff is between the pipes for the opposition, so I'm not too concerned...Sorry Fraggle ;D Panthers shouldn't have too much trouble with this one I feel, although I hope they aren't as dismissive of our opponents as I am Panthers to win 4-2

This Panthers team have only to convert a few of the early chances they have been making and this game will finish in double figures and an overworked pair of goal judges. Its going to happen....................

Going purely on Stats.....
Edinburgh have yet to win a Cross- Confrence game Haveing lost all 6. they have conceeded on averge of 6 goals a game and scoreing 2 per game.
Panthers are avergeing over 4 goals a game, conceeding 2 per game.

I think Kim is starting to doubt himself - 9 or 10 games is a long time for a forward to go without scoring. A couple of times he's made a desparate shot on goal rather than pass to a team mate in a better position.
I was talking to the bloke next to me on Saturday about the third period and I said I wanted CC to get a shutout and Kim to score - within minutes Cardiff had scored and Kim had limped off the Ice. I'm predicting nothing ever again!
Lets give Kim a really good cheer on Thursday!

I'll go for an 8-2 win for the Panthers and I'm an Edinburgh fan. We are playing very badly at the moment and, unless things change quickly, will be fighting Dundee for the wooden spoon in the league.
PS what time is face off?

Predict we will win easily (by 5) and Geoff well get some time between pipes (maybe the whole game???) Also predict I will miss at least 1 goal due to droolin over Troffy

We need to take FULL advantage of the easy(on paper at least) part of the season that we are now entering. Starting with a 7-1 win.

Me, I just want a win. Dont care if its 1-0, 2-1, whatever.
A win is 2 points, cant see GD being the deciding factor at the end of the season.

well edinburgh aren't exactly spectacular, from what i have heard they are awful at passing, shooting, keeping possession. this match should be a breeze and i expect panthers to slaughter them but i'm awful at predicting scores so i won't this time

I'm predicting nothing ever again! actually kimmy charged down a shot which set Krulis 1 on 1 with Cugnet

I predict this to be the final win in our winning streak which I think therefore also covers my prediction for the next away game (which I expect to be a draw....) Don't predict scores, getting results right is hard enough for me

As I understand it GD is not a deciding factor anyway. The table is sorted by Points, Wins, Regulation time wins and if two teams are still tied it's results between those two sides. Me, I just want a win. Dont care if its 1-0, 2-1, whatever. A win is 2 points, cant see GD being the deciding factor at the end of the season. HL

I think we'll win this game confortably, by hopefully 5 or 6. I expect a fairly small crowd for this game, with it being Edinburgh and a Thursday night.
Lets go for 7-1, with Ivan to score first.
Next few games are Edinburgh, Fife, Edinburgh, Basingstoke, London and Dundee, which although won't all be easy it is a run of the 'easier' teams to play in the leauge, no Belfast, Cardiff, Coventry, Bracknall, Sheffield etc. Hopefully we can get our winning streak into double figures (getting far too ahead of myself but hey)!
