Persistent negativity, fuelled by some form of real or perceived personal slight, likewise defeats the forum. Hey I just pointed out what had happened with Ollie in response to somebody else’s post. You might call it negativity but that’s just your opinion of my opinion. That’s what forums are,a collection of lots of peoples opinions good and bad. I don’t criticise somebody else’s posts just because they are constantly positive and non critical. Welcome back Dave hahaha

Can this season just end. Yeah, it’s been awful. Never wanted a season to end so badly

The penalty shots weren't very good. Dudek's for them was top class in fairness, sat Rok down.
We got a bit of better fortune throughout for our 4, but were a bit unlucky in OT not to win it, hitting the bar. Blaze didn't do anything in the extra period, almost looked to be playing for shots at times.
A point's better than nothing. Let's see what they can do at the Skydump.

Why do people leave before OT? Don’t get it. Maybe work, transport issues or any other multitude of reasons.

I felt 4-4 was a fair result based on chances and possession however both teams were poor defensively.
Slow burner which came to life once we got our second, the game and atmosphere was really flat until that point.
Once on penalties we never looked like scoring and Rok let in a really soft 5 hole (again) for the first.
We go again...not a lot else we can do

Thought it was a good game for a neautral. played well in periods and when they get their tails up they are starting to buzz and build pressure. It's been a while since we've seen that but the last few games it's getting better. The only thing im not sure of is if that buzz and noise just gets the juices going a little too much. Obviously as fans we will get behind them when they battle back in like tonight, but both last weekend and this a critical goal has been scored when the building was electric. As soon as that 1 goes in the wrong end it drops off a cliff again. 🤷♂️. Can't get much closer though. Post and Cross bar in OT with an incredible rebound save. Surely it has to come soon.

Good fight back tonight with plenty of energy. Should of won it in overtime. Bad pass at the end of our powerplay resulted in their forth goal. Which was a real pity as before that we deserved to be 5:3 up. Surely that win isn't far away. When are we playing Cardiff at home?

When are we playing Cardiff at home? 21st Before that banker we have a few winnable games against Clan, Flyers and Stars. We'll win again soon.

I’d probably agree, once we went 4-3 up, and we were on the powerplay, we needed to remain composed. Like you say, the building was loud, the fans were encouraging them forward, we over committed and ending up shipping a short handed goal… Another disappointing night

Are we the only team that has power breaks? They seem to kill our momentum sometimes and give the other team time to regroup and right there wrongs.

Whilst we’re on the topic of match nights presentation, can we start using the big screen a bit better by actually showing decent replays of the in game action

From what I assume by watching them: Motorpoint sponsor the one in the 1st period (car advert) The pizza company sponsor the pass-the-pizza in the 2nd period A recruitment company sponsor the dance cam in the 3rd. I’d rather we didn’t have them, however at least the club is getting something in return for them.

And I’ll bet the sponsors all think that everybody watches their adverts. When in reality people either get their phone out, start talking, go to get a drink or nip to the loo.

The timing of the 3rd power break was really frustrating, we were just going on the PP, had built great momentum and it really sucked the life out of that… and added to the fact that blaze then called the Timeout right at the end of that break really put the cherry on top of that situation.
They’re not allowed to do the power break Once the minimum time point has been reached if the play is dead because of icing, they should've been a bit cleverer in not doing it until after the end of the PP.

Once again the victims of bad luck hitting the bar in OT but also shot ourselves in the foot too with the bad pass that led to the blaze equaliser. Another game we should’ve won really.
I’m really not keen on Stojanovic though. For a starting NM he has the most gaping 5-hole I think I’ve seen and it keeps getting exploited
Thought Hugo Roy was outstanding

Agree with a lot of points made in terms of luck, power breaks and Hugo Roy.
First time seeing Paré and I really liked what he brought. Finished every hit, turned pucks over and won key draws. I felt we had more of a presence on the forecheck as Blaze D knew they couldn’t just swan around. Blake Thomson really annoyed me in the back to back at new year because I felt he took liberties. He did nothing of the sort last night.
