As all teams seemingly (Bar Manchester-1 import to announce) have completed their rosters, what do people think the league positions will be as well as who they think will win the Challenge cup & Playoffs..?

Can’t make up my mind if I’m optimistic or delusional lol 😂 Certainly not optimistic about Coventry by the looks Lots of change this year, a lot of new coaches, quite difficult to predict how anyone will go at this point (perhaps 1 & 2 aside). I almost said us for the playoffs too, I'm probably over-egging the new look Clan.

So we’re happy to say that Belfast will win again, but no-one wants to give Flames the time of day? so far we’ve got them as Leicester city basically.

Basically people don't think they'll have the same season as last year..

Problem with Guildford is that they outperformed what their CV’s would suggest and with them losing their best player it’s difficult to predict them to do it again

Belfast and Cardiff both looked very good, and that's pre-season even. Belfast will have to watch the amount of PKs this weekend or they will get slaughtered.

Basically people don't think they'll have the same season as last year.. I think we’ll be better but not convinced we have the depth to compete with the top teams.

Guildford have always been a 5/6 team in the league, until last year. I'm leaning more towards that being the exception more than the rule, but we'll see. Certainly retained a lot of their team, so should be up and running immediately.

Looking forward to seeing Glasgow most of all. Pulled out of the sewer in the best possible way and I think given a bit of time they will be very strong

Belfast Cardiff Sheffield Glasgow Nottingham Guildford Coventry Manchester Fife Dundee Cup - Sheffield Playoffs - Cardiff Interested you picked Steelers to win the Cup given your historically very vocal opposition to Fox as a coach. Bottler, will never win anything, couldn't hit a donkey's arse with a banjo etc. Law of big numbers?

Because he's won that before.. he's very much in the CN mould MK1 assembles high scoring teams but fails at the holy grail..

Belfast are my pick as the team to beat. Doubts about both the Devils and Steelers. My "dark horse" pick are the Glasgow Clan. If hard work and determination are worth anything ( not to forget a very passionate supporter base ) then the "Purple Peril" could just emerge and achieve their best season for many a year. Regret to say I expect both Dundee and Fife to be amongst the also fans. Just like Coventry and Manchester, they will pick up the occasional big upset result but simply do not have the depth or quality to mount a challenge over several months. Think the Flames will fall back this term. That leaves Nottingham. Success breeds success and a good first six games could be exactly what they need to launch a challenge. New Head Coach, Betteridge back in the line-up which has to be a plus. Two biggest questions are (a) how will the new Coach settle to our UK style and (b) who establishes themselves as the bona-fide number one netminder.

Came across this earlier so thought I'd post it. This YouTube account does an overview of each of the EIHL teams and where he thinks they will finish.
This is the Panthers one.
He has Panthers finishing 5th, but some of his opinions on where other teams will finish are to me a bit strange, but then that's what makes it an opinion.
