Here’s an idea, why not just concentrate on building a ‘Gold Standard’ arena team and leave the buggering about playing Batman to those behind closed doors in the privacy of their own home. My opinion of the Panthers set up is at an all time low and now we have a take the wee night just to cap it off. I saw enough of superhero’s when Puffer launched himself at the Gaint on Wednesday and helped throw an almost unbelievable three goal lead away to go crashing out of the CC with a whimper. Just put out a team that’s going to compete for the season for goodness sake and leave carnival night to Dancing on Ice! Chortle....love it FS. 🤣🤣

In fairness, when Pach came in he said they'd be trying lots of stuff and that some of it would work and other bits wouldn't etc, this may end up falling into that category, but it's a bit of fun for the kids in the crowd isn't it?
Obviously the best thing the club can do for the fans is to put a side on the ice that challenges for all competitions, but, given the rules, that ship has sailed this season.
Moore's injury sounds rather unpleasant, I'm glad it's healed properly.

Rome wasn't built in a day, Iggy.
We've had a hugely disappointing team this year, so it colours everything in a negative light, but we're not going to get another go at that until next summer. The team isn't a result of Pach thinking too much about who he was going to get to dress up as Bumblebee.

Well i don’t know about you Yotes but other than media I am struggling to think of anything else that has improved this season, especially the two main jobs of... Improving crowds....failure Improving on ice performance....epic failure

Ah, iggy, if only life were as simple as you paint it. Well if they’d taken care of number two first instead of piddling around with daft videos and Suoerhero’s then number one would have likely taken care of itself !

The team was assembled in the summer, given the rules on maximum number of signings each year you can't really afford to get it wrong, we clearly did. These theme nights were going to happen whether we were top of the league or bottom of it.

But what have they done to at least even try to put it right and how many more changes could they have made which they haven’t used ? Several changes unused. They signed a non real difference maker in Levin and a lazy signing in Ricci released from a bargain basement team who had a plus/minus of -25 at the time. They haven’t even hardly tried to change anything despite it being obvious even Neilson knows they’re crap ! It’s no wonder the Panthers get worse year on year with the attitude they’ve got.

And yet Ricci wasn't a lazy signing was it Iggy. Panthers didn't pick up a released player did they? As discussed at the time, Panthers came to a deal with Dundee 'that benefited both teams' in order that their team captain Ricci could transfer to our team. That's the exact opposite of a lazy pick up of a released player As for him being -20 at the time. Since he's only -4 since joining us in an almost identical number of games I guess they could see (as we all can that) that being on a losing team was artificially inflating that. Something that has been proved right. Similar production since joining us but much improved +/- Dundee currently have 7 players with at least -20 and another 8 with already -10 ratings. And that's with 4 players in the league's top 25 for point production. We have 0 in the top 25 Likewise, as Levin is tied for second on assists on our team and one of only 4 players without a negative +/- you could also argue he was an upgrade in both offensive and defensive regards Not saying, Panthers haven't made some howlers this year but come on, let's not rewrite the history of what happened just to suit a narrative

0-1 after 1. Plenty of powerplay time for Panthers in that one. Myers with a shot off the post. Quite even really.
Flames starting 2 on their first powerplay though.

He wouldn’t even get looked at by Sheffield or Belfast I wouldn't dispute the last part of that (and there were probably better out there I'm sure) but he was already in the country and Panthers liked the look of him. However he certainly wasn't a lazy signing in the sense Iggy presented it: picking up a player would already been released. He was actually the opposite of that.

Ricci was a lazy signing. By lazy signing I refer to a very poor/average player who’s already here, thus saving on cost of flights etc, from a poor team and a guy that had shocking stats,I believe the worst on his team at the time. And as I understand it he was released then Panthers signed him. Clubs are not allowed to poach players and if Ricci instigated the move Dundee could have refused to let him go to another EIHL team. If Panthers couldn’t have found better out there with a little effort then there’s something very wrong. That’s lazy. Panthers are a really poor team, yet they still even now have 3 or 4 more changes they could have made and yet they haven’t done it. There is no way this years misfiring roster should have remained virtually unchanged if Panthers had an ounce of ambition in them.
