Let me get ahead of the game day social media here: - No Lagrone - No Moore And add: - No reinforcements lined up - No more money being spent on this roster - No chance of anything changing (happy to be proved wrong!) Lol you forgot that... -They’ve had a good couple of practices. -The spirit in the camp is good. -They need to come out hard and fast. -Guildford are a fast team. -The boys are excited to play in front of the great fans. -They need to make sure we manage the puck well. -They need to play for 60 minutes. Oh plus any other load of standard old cobblers that I’ve missed ! |

I’m off to get my batman costume. 🙄 I was wondering who they'd get. In fact, there's a trio of superheros to be found - Superman, Batman and Bumblebee from Transformers. Slightly strange choice tbh. |

One thing I do find odd with this one is the timing of it so soon after Christmas and it being a Saturday night. I thought this one may have been scheduled for a Sunday or say feb half term time when it’s more likely a family orientated |

Nothing against theme nights. A little titillation for the kids.  However, (poor link into this but...) just purchased that latest and costly calendar '23. Always wondered why they didn't produce a August to July one myself, to add your fixtures too for the whole season. Anyway, all your super heroes are within on both sides. Made me wonder though, if the paper gets any thinner if we'd get to see both sides at once. Looking at Jono Bullards recent tweet about making notes ready for Saturday, it only references Duggie Lagrone as being out injured, and has Craig Moore as ‘first game back’, so interesting to see if he makes the final roster and if so the make up/ balance of the team.

It was me who said a couple of weeks. With a facial injury though there’s no reason why he shouldn’t have been skating for virtually all the time he was out. He didn’t break a leg. |

Simple answer is I don't know with regards to how far away he is and I haven't been down this week at all due to having COVID. He has been taking part in full training sessions, but because of the games this week there haven't been as many training sessions as normal. My own personal opinion is I think it could be another week but I'm not a medical professional or the coach so I cannot give a definitive answer I'm afraid. |

But it’s nice to keep track and I know you’d miss me if I didn’t. 🤣 Although seeing as there’s an interview with Moore popped up on the O/S today we can see the power of the cage is still working ! Lol |

It's all a bit of fun. I'm not able to go because of a bereavement, but I would have been going in my Captain America jersey! As it stands I'll be giving our tickets away to some friends whose little kids will be dressing up and sure to be having fun*. *at least until the hockey starts  |

Here’s an idea, why not just concentrate on building a ‘Gold Standard’ arena team and leave the buggering about playing Batman to those behind closed doors in the privacy of their own home.
My opinion of the Panthers set up is at an all time low and now we have a take the wee night just to cap it off. I saw enough of superhero’s when Puffer launched himself at the Gaint on Wednesday and helped throw an almost unbelievable three goal lead away to go crashing out of the CC with a whimper.
Just put out a team that’s going to compete for the season for goodness sake and leave carnival night to Dancing on Ice!
