The writing was on the wall for Angeli when I picked him as Belfast's star player before the season.
His 6+6 is only 2 points better than Anderson, so no thanks. Hopefully Finance Freddie doesn't want to pay the ferry fare.

He could come back on the supporters coach, if they have a spare seat

Weird how it works, isn't it? Angeli has serious ECHL stats from the last 2 seasons, basically a PPG player in that league last 2 years. Better stats than Piccinich. A signing that fans would rightly be looking forward to. But released mid-season with disappointing numbers. A reminder that you have to see how players play before getting all excited/dispappointed.

I find that a bit of a strange one for them, his East Coast stats are very ordinary, and everyone seems to score a bucketful in the NIHL. We'll see though.

Considering he was in the KHL last season, he's been a little underwhelming, it seems? I was looking for him to be a cut above, to be honest.

Wasn't homeless for long. Clearly the Vienna Capitals fancy a look. Yeah you never can tell. One player from the same league comes over and struggles, and another with much worse numbers in the first league arrives and excels. The wonders of line "chemistry"

We're one of the few fan bases that saw him aren't we? In our first preseason loss? He's a bit like their very own Mark Lee.
The MBA thing is interesting, what will they do about that?

Based on his stats Östlund was probably a very decent goalie. Not daft the Steelers, smart timing that, wait until Panthers and Giants have made their goalie moves then release their own guy a day or so later. 😉

No surprise. The Star have been pushing this for weeks, any time Steelers don't win by 6 they say 'if only we had an out and out sniper, like Vallerand...'

Somebody tell me how Steelers add Vallerand and stay within the “supposed” wage cap without cutting at least one maybe two other players. The EIHL is a joke,an absolute sham !
