We might not have heard news of one going the other way yet.
But really, this wage cap business, is it actually a thing? I mean it's like the roster rules isn't it, injured reserve and all that? It looks good and professional, but no one keeps track anyway, so you can do what you want?
They're not alone either, Belfast sign a new player every week.
There's no wage cap, other than the iron grip of Finance Freddie on daddy's wallet.

Somebody tell me how Steelets add Vallerand and stay within the “supposed” wage cap without cutting at least one maybe two other players. The EIHL is a joke,an absolute sham ! Another over the hill player coming to the league to wind down his career .. when will it end 😂

If you can't beat them, join them. Oh wait, this is Panthers we are talking about. Average player roster, below average ambition, championship penny pinching approach. Keep those suckers coming through the doors - many content with dire quality side particularly newer fans who know no better. The "management/owner" have little in-depth knowledge of hockey and even less regards what constitutes assembling a winning and entertaining team.

I'm sure if Panthers had signed Marco it would have been seen differently Not really old chap Not necessarily by yourself, but by the average Panthers fan who I expect would be delighted to find Panthers signing a player with a proven scoring record. Although he has had injuries this season.

I'm talking more about the fact he had apparently signed for us this time last year, was in Nottingham but then Black refused to pay his wage or something before he left without being announced. I fully agree regards the pride jersey. If that is the breacg of contract then I have no issue with him signing here.

A club should strive to be inclusive 52 weeks a year, not just pride week. It's also a recipe for bad press if it does get revealed that is why he was released (just rumour based on timing ATM).
