This was all but a sell-out when I tried to book tickets for this. I wonder how many will actually turn up now.

It will be interesting to see

Financially a great success. People need to wake up.

Worst thing is I think we slightly edged the first 10mins. We conceed what appeared a 2 on 4(how he got anyway near the goal i'l never know) and then the 2nd was similar, knife through butter.
Cant blame the players on the ice, men v boys again.

Financially a great success. People need to wake up. Financially yep, that one game alone has got to be worth at least £150k gross to the Steelers and what was that weekly wage cap again....oh yes £12.5k. But no doubt the Covid begging bowl will likely be out again very soon !

After a good comeback period, so deflating to concede a soft one right at the end. Basic zone clearance costing us.
Sheffield have shown nothing special in any of their 4 goals. Panthers pretty much making basic mistakes for all.

At least we are consistent

So frustrating, it's like they are afraid to give a hit to get the puck when Sheffield are camped in our zone.
There 4th you could see coming

Fought hard, mistakes cost us. Lack of quality.
But the fudging refs shut any chance we had down with 5mins to go

Fought hard, mistakes cost us. Lack of quality. That sentence sums the season up nicely. The players in my opinion are largely blameless, they are performing to their full potential. The problem is, that potential is below what is required.

The hockey is boring and flat and the budget given for this years team is a wee wee take too far.
