Just a warning for anyone who plans to use the tram for Sundays game against Fife.
On Sunday November 28th, there will be no service from Toton Lane due to sewer works by Severn Trent. The works mean there will be no services after 10am, between Cator Lane and Meadows Way West.
Not sure how to do links, but this is off the Nottingham Tram Network webpage.

I hope Shane Owen doesn’t stand on his head for the Flyers today. He struggled when he was with Belfast but when he was with the Flyers previously it was a different story at the NIC.

He needn't stand on his head. We aren't causing him trouble. 0-2. Defence all at sea, should have been 3 after the 2 Panthers dmen took each other out and the flyer is all alone against Carr.

We can't pass and pretty much all our shots going straight to the goal tenders midsection. Easy stops for him so far

Severe lack of quality, nothings changed.
There isn't one import id be really upset to lose if we were offered a theoretical entire squad swap.
Welsh and Domingue only players i'd like to see stay. I do like Norrish but the D is built all wrong. Brassard, Lane, Carozza, Baillargeon would be the first changes I'd make. We need a no nonsense Dman, too many offensive minded forwards. Matherson could be upgraded(I dont blame W&G for giving him another go though). Souranta for some strange reason I still think comes good, but he could go tomorrow and it'd be no loss. New forward deserves a few more games before deciding.
I've seen us start with some poor teams but I think this could well be the worst.

Back to 2 all now, must be almost end 2nd. It is now. Both goals coming from defensive lapses by Flyers with Thow and the Tetlow being allowed to skate unopposed down the left. Although both took their chances very nicely. Still making poor decisions in our own end though.

Time for Moran to buy a Scalextric and inquire about the Hanson Brothers.

The happy clappers have now got the team they deserve. So has Black. Less and less people there every week

There have been signs of improvement in the Flyers in past few weeks (due to lack of early season preparation we were about 3/4 weeks behind the rest in terms of training/stamina). Owen has been magnificent at times but he is getting more protection now and our offence are clicking better. This Panthers team needs a few changes I think maybe more to be competitive.

The happy clappers have now got the team they deserve. So has Black. Less and less people there every week Black has basically used the COVID lockdown and wage cap to sign a bargain basement team. He's got history too. The last season in the Ice Stadium he signed a poor team with the shaky excuse that costs of moving into a new arena were prohibitive. He then signed a cheap team for the first season in the arena with essentially the same excuse. I've haven't been to any games this season and only four in total during the previous two. Seems more and more people are waking up to the contempt they are held in by the Panthers management. Personally, in my opinion we need to see the back of Black and Moran for the culture and ethos of the club to change.

Well that was dreadful. Another home defeat in the league, 4 in total out of 8 home games.
I know we’re missing players with injuries but even if they return there’s still a lot missing from the team, physicality, aggression, someone with some fire who can spark the dreary Nottingham crowd into life.
Wallace talks a lot about momentum, maybe we should sign a couple of players who can create some.

It is strange. Each season the personnel change, the coach may change, yet the results remain dire. Even the fanbase seems lower this season, yet we are one of the best supported teams in the League. I'm not sure that Black and Moran can influence it that much. Can they?

What makes them simply go through the motions like they seem to be doing?

I wasn't expecting much after the past few home games but even I was shocked at how poor we started the game.
We got a bit better in the 2nd (as per) but then went back into neutral for the 3rd.
Madness that we have scored ONE goal in first period league games this season,I sit in block 13 and cannot remember the last time we scored at 'that end'.
The crowd was very subdued tonight, the early season enthusiasm is wearing off the longer this boring lack of intensity hockey continues.

Current home record is 8 points from 16. Dundee the only team with a worse home record, 4 from 10. Lose away on Saturday well have the worse record with the most games played. Abysmal.
