We’re going off on a tangent here but I have to agree that our pre-match build up is poor.
Although I hate Sweet Caroline I do enjoy seeing the video before our ‘actual’ intro video. It stirs emotions in you and memories that remind you why you follow the club. As has been said, surely we can make that video longer or even use that as the intro with a variety of other images/footage and a decent song to get fans fired up?
This might sound daft, but it seems as though the club have never recorded any decent footage of our victories over the years😂 And if there is any it was from the poor camera that was up in the boxes. There’s no close-up footage or even commentary, nothing.
As much as I detest Sheffield their pre-game build-up and intro is perfect, they’ve got the right footage and commentary, going from their start to present day, then they have the right music to match it.
IMO the club have made a step forward in introducing Block 19, but with the way the game is heading now, with the lack of fighting and on-ice entertainment, the club need to help to improve things to create a better match night experience and atmosphere.

The highlights 'show' isnt that great, but for the moaners on here it is the only way they watch the team. The shorthanded goal by Ollie looked good on screen, to get the effect of how it was and how it affected the crowd cannot be conveyed on a phone or tablet screen you have to be there. Which is what naysayers cannot reflect on.

Say what you want, it's worth what someone will pay for it. It may not be worth £15 to you, and that's fair enough (God knows you go on about it enough), but it definitely is to other people. That's fair enough too.

And that’s why some houses remain unsold because the sellers overpriced it,the seller has to reduce the price and because they tried to be greedy not many actually ventured forth to see their property live in the flesh. End result down the line the seller loses out because he tried to be overly greedy.

No problem with the webcast price at all and often watch other team's webcasts if we are not doing anything. A lot of people pour £15 worth of beer down their neck on match days and if you can't afford it just don't watch it. Some webcasts could be better and some are excellent but £15 is just a bit more than a packet of cigarettes nowadays.

End result down the line the seller loses out because he tried to be overly greedy. It's unlike Bobness to use a bad example hey 😂 Isn't it? I was making the point that just because someone thinks it's overpriced doesn't mean it is full stop. And you only get to sell a house once. You can afford to wait to find the "right" buyer. Plenty of houses are sold at asking price (even if inflated) after months of waiting for the "right" buyer. If you can wait, why not? You can sell hundreds of webcasts. All at the same time. But there's no arbitrage possible. They are consumed "live" and are worthless the next day. (Like, say, a hotel room for the night or a plane seat. If you don't sell it at the time, it's gone forever.) Again, it's about revenue maximisation. If it wasn't, in reality, economic for the clubs to sell webcasts at at £15 a throw, surely (given our profit obsessed owners, as you constantly go on about) the price would move, to maximise revenue? If so, maybe it will? That would be evidence of the validity of your argument? (Put simply, 500 lots of £15 is less than 1000 lots of £10, say.) That might be one to keep an eye on? Are the webcasts priced too highly to maximise potential revenue from each one? (You want the sweet spot price, where the total revenue curve is at its maximum, which depends on many things, including demand elasticities. A bit like what happens to a projectile when you try to hit it as far as you can. You need to hit it at a 45 degree angle to the ground. At 44 or 46 degrees (and so on), it doesn't go as far.)* To be fair, though, I only have half a degree in economics. And we're not selling houses. Some bloke in Sheffield does that. * Assuming no air resistance, etc etc.

Last week people were actually clapping along. no. Where on earth did that come from. Although, seeing the occasional NHL game on Freesports I can say there are some Panthers level teams over there when it comes to music, goal celebrations etc.

Where on earth did that come from. Although, seeing the occasional NHL game on Freesports I can say there are some Panthers level teams over there when it comes to music, goal celebrations etc. I went to the Leafs game last night and they haven't done a thing with their intro for years now, because they don't have to, people will attend whatever they serve up because it's the Leafs. Yet last weekend I went to see my local OHL team and the place was rocking, because they need to put on a show and go all out to keep people coming back. Panthers I suspect take their supporters for granted and hope the Hockey alone is enough to bring in the crowds which for the most part it will, if we have a winning team. If not then attendances could plummet if we aren't drawing in the 'Saturday night out crowd' any more. Also, I caught the last 2 periods on the webcast(who would pay $26 for such a thing???), there was some nice finishing on display, Ollie's goal in particular. A good performance and as EIHL games go, pretty good quality but the more NA Hockey I watch the more I dislike Hockey on Olympic sized Ice.
