Should have been clearer, when I've bought season tickets in the past, if you called they would give you options if you called, whereas the website didn't. I've assumed the same as it appears on the face of it to be a similar process. Somebody needs to ring I reckon,it looks to me like you get what you’re given,which is a bit pants if you’re getting on a bit and end up In the gods on the back row. Just looked up what you can get in gold on the website. Block 5 Row E. Fantastic seats. I should know as I'm just the row in front! However selecting Silver gives you Block 6 Row N. This is a bit crap as it seems to be prioritizing the block over the row. I'm sure you could get a better seat in Block 7 that's closer. Selecting Bronze offers Block 9, row D. Seems pretty decent offering. One thing not offered is if you want Block 19, it doesnt give you an option online. Slightly off topic, but have the Bronze and Silver prices gone up more than the Gold? I could have sworn the difference between Gold and the others used to be more pronounced? |

Just reread their old press release and in the light of today's announcement it does (with hindsight) now suggest they might have deliberately kept him short term: "They have also opted to keep Andreas Valdix *available for their lineup this weekend*, and have therefore used one of their official changes" Reading it now it doesn't sound much like a he'll be here for the season announcement. So does sound like they burned one change just for last weekend. Which is either optimistic or shows they felt they really needed an extra body last weekend |

I’m struggling to think of any EIHL team that have ever made seven import changes in a season.

The only team I could think of that has made a lot of changes was Sheffield in 18/19 season. So, looking at Elite Prospects, they had a total of 25!!!!!!! different imports throughout the course of that season. I remember they were poor that season but that’s ridiculous. I believe the import limit was 14 for a match day squad so they made 11 changes/additions in total… |

I believe the import limit was 14 for a match day squad so they made 11 changes/additions in total… Yeah, we had a fair few ourselves that year but still only got up to 20 in total (the new ceiling now) Similarly when we got through/had three NM in 14/15 we only got up to 19 imports by my count. But then, equally, gone now are the days when we'd have 10, 11 or even 12 Brits on the squad. The 12 was the year we won the league incidentally. Though even with that, due to few changes elsewhere, we would still have squeaked in just under the new maximum squad number of 28 registered players each year. Just. |

Pretty pleased with the mighty Flyers 6-2 win over the Blaze tonight. Looks like they have turned the corner after a woefully unprepared first month or so. Strong skillful passing game and very good movement and pretty clinical on PP. COYF

Fox defends Brust for being heavy and says he’s always played that way,yet in a pretty meaningless CC game last night he plays Stojanovic then plays him again in a big league game today while Brust warms the bench. And that comes after Brust seems to have done well in the last couple of games he’s played. All very odd ! |

We took the Steelers to the cleaners tonight, we trounced them 5-0 at theirs and it should have been 7/8. We shut them out at theirs and they were lucky to get none. That result tonight helped everyone, these geezers ain’t invincible in fact they ain’t so great either.
