Also, less than 5 minutes to go in Kirkcaldy and Flyers are leading the Devils 2-1! The league is looking wide open this year! Just looking at the stats and the Devils had 57 shots on goal, but only managed to score the one powerplay goal all game. They also missed a penalty shot with only 2:16 left and the scores still finely poised at 2-1. Bit of a mare!

Belfast have finally scored on the PP in a league game as well it seems. Taking their League PP% to 4.76% if the Elite stats are correct. And yet their cup PP% is 25.8%.
It's an unpredictable year alright

www.hcmerano.it/vertragsaufloesung-mit-didiomete/Can we expect him to turn up in the EIHL ? He always seems to get a job. Remember him 'blowing a tyre' at Nottingham, wiping out Kwall, who accidentally rolled over on to him and got a few punches in !

If you get him here to contribute like he has at spells in his career such as 0.83ppg in the Alps league, and he bring the energy and fight in a controlled manner then I'd take him. Controlled being the key word there though. Guy is a loose cannon. Not sure he is worth the risk. Could easily turn up and get 200pims and barely trouble the scoring charts.

Problem for Cardiff seems to be that they have little to no penetration resulting in few decent grade A scoring chances. The have the skill to retain the puck in the O zone by tippy tappy stuff but forget that the general idea is to get the puck in the net. Long range speculative shots without net front presence isn't going to win many games and is meat and drink to Shane Owen. I also think Owen excels when kept busy facing multiple shots keeping his eye throughout the game.

What are the away blocks for Glasgow and Fife? I have Dundee tickets which are unallocated.
Thanks in advance.

Looking at the seating plans and thinking back to my last trip sip there, Fife I'm fairly certain is Block F and Clan I think is Block H. Assuming they've not changed it around of course.

Looking at Clan's season ticket page, they seem to be selling them in all blocks? (Also, the price is eye watering. £440 for 25 games in gold, are ours that much?)
Also they appear to have signed a 20 year lease on the shopping centre. And delayed their home opener again.

This hockey watching is getting very pricey these days, I was amazed when I looked at prices recently how much it’s gone up in just the last few years. I see the Panthers have just brought out a “Panthers pass” too, perhaps somebody’s realised that crowds are falling.

Panthers Pass appears to be a half season ticket, which is fair enough but you do rather wonder why they don't just call it that.
I've often thought they should do a club membership, give you a card you can then load games onto (or even get right up to date and use Apple Wallet/Google Pay to do it).

Remember him 'blowing a tyre' at Nottingham, wiping out Kwall, who accidentally rolled over on to him and got a few punches in ! Can't see him being the "right guy" for a Wallace team myself, even if he was cheap. Doesn't necessarily fit the mold of the players Wallace seems to prefer to me and the ethos he seems to want to build (controlled, dependable, energy but low pm, team first). But he may have mellowed with age of course and I didn't necessarily see the best of him during his brief spells on the EIHL. Bounced early by Cardiff, even earlier by Steelers and from what I remember finished one year with the Storm having being cut from another European team. Solid numbers in ApHL recently (without being cut early, so maybe he's settled) but still the most penalised three years running. Having a lot of teams on your resume (4 a year some years) doesn't always mean anything especially when younger, nor does rarely playing for the same team twice, but it does feel like he's been cut a lot early doors by teams until the last few years, and even then brings a whole load of time on the PK for his teammates now. Was most penalised on his current team before being cut. The downside is greater than the upside for me especially with better number guys still not having a berth anywhere this year. But who knows maybe he's the right energy guy for Wallace at the right price. But I'd be surprised personally. As always, JMHO

You can't go on a seat map and pick, you just got the best seats still available in the block you picked. Unless you rang the box office, then they would give you options, but never online.

This and not being able to pick my seat ( bar the option to talk to reception staff) does not entice me.

The Elite league headline was kind of inevitable I guess... "Flames playing the Trapp"

I am curious why exactly the arena don't let you pick seats for season tickets (and this new initiative) without calling up. I would clarify, that it does tell you (at least with season tickets) exactly what seats you are getting before you pay, so you're not entirely in the dark. Still not sure of any technical reason you can't pick your own seats.

Should have been clearer, when I've bought season tickets in the past, if you called they would give you options if you called, whereas the website didn't. I've assumed the same as it appears on the face of it to be a similar process.

Somebody needs to ring I reckon,it looks to me like you get what you’re given, which is a bit pants if you’re getting on a bit and end up In the gods on the back row.
