Were they 3 down after 60mins? Don’t be silly Jord, they were 3 down after about 20 minutes. So not 3 down after 60mins which is the post you were trying to reply to.

Any team coming back from 3 down to win after 60mins is rather special..... yes. I'm not sure that the Belfast laptop person could even pull that one off. Didn’t Manchester do it last week ? And they’re not very special ! I'm pretty sure if Manchester had come back from 3 down after 60 minutes every hockey news outlet in the world would be talking about it! Not to mention investigating potential game rigging in the league 😂

Good job Jordan Hedley over the weekend. 49 saves, 3 GA, for a combined 94.2% SP over the weekend. He's over 94% in total for the 5 games he's played in this season.

The difference between facing Manchester and Belfast, I would think. Plus Coventry appear to have a few out.
Decent late show for Cardiff too, that was looking like a loss.
Bit of a chasm opening up from the top 3 to the rest of us.

Two poor crowds tonight in Coventry and Cardiff.

That's a choker of a loss for the Clan. Looks like the Blaze are in for a Covid rest soon? Panthers have only played them once (out of the 6 scheduled games, and that was game 2) so far this season, and we're well past halfway. Manchester only twice too, but only 1 game to go vs the Starts.

We got out of jail last night, 4 goals in the last 7/8 mins was expecting the 2-0 down to be the result, but in fairness the lads never gave up. Actually the crowd wasn’t too bad for a Wed night, and Cardiff City were home and they are only 3 miles down the road.

Your boys are obviously getting better,as they only just lost despite only playing for 20 minutes against the Giants but then beat the Clan by only playing for seven minutes. 🤣

Manchester only twice too, but only 1 game to go vs the Starts. Was a bad tactical decision from the coach, who opted for "park the bus" tactics after going 2 ahead. You can't do that for 30 minutes of a hockey match, especially against a team with more firepower, and giving more work to an already busy netminder who's form will sooner or later drop-off.

Hedley ships 7 against the Giants If there's one team you don't want to be down on bodies to, it's the Giants. The words "lamb" and "slaughter" spring to mind. Blaze iced 9 "imports", 16 skaters. Even Panthers have always managed to ice at least 11 imports this season.

I imagine that was a tough one for the Blaze fans to take.

They probably have more cases than is required to but can't afford to cancel anymore games because of failure to finish the season!

That’s exactly what I thought a few weeks ago after listening to the interview about it which the EIHL eventually put out. It was as clear as mud, seemed to have no definitive answer as to what or how many cases triggers a team into protocol and struck me as they just do what they want as and how it suited. Basically,it was complete and utter cobblers !

Fife only won 20 of the 75 faceoffs in the game vs Giants Sunday night. (Best and worst face off performance of the season) Conway won 26 of 32 on his own, well more than the entire Fife team. Brandon Magee went 6 for 26. The most faceoffs recorded in an EIHL game this season is 86. Storm vs Panthers, NYD. Storm won 50.

Flames V Blaze game scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 16th) has been postponed, due to Covid in the Blaze camp.

That's not great for us as we play them Saturday, I think our game for this has been rolled twice already.
