At this moment, I have no idea what to make of this season, no team seems to be able to go on a run. Belfast and Cardiff seem to be losing to teams that they would normally beat and Glasgow (The League leaders) got stuffed 9-2. It appears that if you have a good weekend, you can climb the table rapidly and fall just as quickly if you have had a bad weekend So far, it's been a very interesting season. It's certainly very interesting isn't it. Clan have been the great surprise so far I think it's safe to say & the big three budget squads probably aren't looking as good as expected right now. Shame that.

At 3-3 the game could have gone either way. The 2 penalties within 10 secs resulting in the 5 on 3 and the gwg decided the game. The first penalty was soft, the 2nd one avoidable. But Cardiff are a shadow of the team from the CHL games. Linglet was anonymous, Martin is struggling, Pope not as effective. Adey, Murphy and Lord are alluded to a lull after the CHL, which Panthers also experienced.

I reckon they’re suffering a bit from both age and bringing back too many players. A bit of lost hunger too perhaps, when you’ve won the trophies a couple of times it becomes a bit meh.

Mardiff do PR the proper way as well, straight from the horses mouth. So remember folks, it has to be true.

Christ, Cardiff lose a game in Glasgow (they didn't get "pumped" at all, 2 ENGs) and all of a sudden it's lights out? You're funny.

OMG 🙈 Do you take everything at face value or do you take life so seriously? Fact is, Pidge, I literally often don't know when you're being serious and when you're being "jokey". In that case, my default is (rightly or wrongly) to take what you've written fairly literally, and react, if I can be bothered, accordingly. It's often the case with written media such as here. Subtle nuances of language and the originator's intention are often lost in the act of committing words to (virtual) paper. That's why we have emojis.

I do sometimes and other times I forget to add them lol. I've come to realise everything said on social media these days are taken out of context

We've dug ourselves an almighty hole, but it's nice that the rest of the league is trying their best to help us catch up.

Those teams you'd expect to be fighting at the top are sure doing a good job of letting us back in it. I'm certainly not expecting us to be up there right at the end, but there is that bit of hope creaping back in. The changes we have made certainly improved us however I'd say we still look a stud forward short of being really competitive long term. I'd argue we are now close enough in quality that great teamship and work ethic could just be enough of a difference maker to see us compete.
Is this season similar to another a number of years back? Disasterous start, a few changes improving us significantly whilst the league has no obvious front runner with everybody dropping points to anybody and everybody else?

Quist needed gasing weeks ago and they need a Blair Riley type forward I agree with what you’re saying, but one player who seems to avoid criticism is Rheault, he’s no better than last season and he’s been the worst performing forward imo. He gets regular power-play time, he’s always parked in front of the net when he’s out, yet he’s produced very little. But we seemingly have to accept it because he’s going to Uni... Anyway, an interesting game today up in Glasgow where they take in the Squeelers. Hopefully the Clan can take a regulation win.

(That, by the way, is a real fact - the previous statement was an opiniom).

Is that the Rheault who got the GWG tonight? (That, by the way, is a real fact - the previous statement was an opiniom). “In my opinion” over two years he has been utterly dire and if he wasn’t on the holy grail of a uni deal he would have been long gone by now. The minute the season is over and his uni course is done he will never be seen again and I’m pretty sure of that
