Presumably they'll have to get them framed, that'll take a bit of time. Unless they hand them over in the old M&S bag for life, for old times sake.
Plus you know what'll happen, they'll put the desk in the worst possible place and even with Dundee numbers it'll be impossible to get anywhere.

Yes i'm sure they will put the desk in the stupidest place imaginable and block the entrance with a big queue. All the more reason then to spread the signing out over several games.....not just TWO. Jeez.... I should be running this club ! 😄

Anyone remember “touch the cup”? After about 3 games, it only got halfway round the arena. Most fans were disappointed and missed out.
In this day and age, we should be signing online and having the shirt digitally printed.
4000 people are not going to get near the shirt over 2 games. Plus, I hope it’s a big shirt.

Trouble, as Yotes indicated, is that Forest probably have the space to encourage more 'low' cost entrants o fill a few gaps. Then again as stated it might bring in full paying customers too.
We won't use up our extra few seats to some ankle biters when we can encourage some 'real' money.

They kept asking for people to 'keep it going' but for sure I was one of many that tried to rush up but get a pic of ourselves with it in our seats without stopping peoples view.

It's a question that's bothered me for years and can't answer it ? Why doesn't this fan base demand higher standards? Fans of other teams have commented why do Panthers fans seem to have this losers mentality and not one of say Sheffield for example . There's never any pressure put on the Panthers Org to make sure things are put right Bump.

It's our fault (those that still go) and we have no one else to blame. Every other team in the country would be playing in front of empty seats. All of the real hockey/sports fans that sit around us have all gone and they have been replaced by the happy clappers. Some almost pass out with excitement as the team are announced onto the ice and never fail to clap the team off when it loses. No one to blame but us.

Yes they have a turn over who probably dont last that many games. It seems we cannot get rid go NB.

I was tempted to bump the Supporters trust thread instead, in fact it's what I actually searched for. Then I remembered how that ended and decided against opening that can of worms. As much as it was/is a great idea in theory.

The small(much smaller than it used to be) group of us that still have STs and have for anywhere from 15 to 35 years were discussing next season today. I'm really thinking of giving it up next season, each year I get closer and closer. Problem is, that end of season comes and you dont quite know enough about next years team before the ST renewal date. Even though you know you shouldn't bother you still just press that button. Why? I think for me it's 2 things. Firstly it's pretty much all i've known my entire adult life(and some before) and it is my club. Secondly there is still that fear of missing out. Sods law I jack it in and it's the season it all comes good. I'm sure thats what many have asked themselves in the past and one year they just get to that point. I thought Covid would re ignite my passion, like many I was really excited to get back to it. Within just over a month that feeling hadn't just faded, it'd been annihilated.

When 'The flying shirt' states 'It's our fault (those that are still going)….' I get this. Because I'd defend anyone that does not go anymore and gets attacked for coming on here to talk hockey then be told they should not have an opinion, which of course depends upon the subject matter. People have given up but still love the game, the club and as 'Bagheera' adds you'd not want to miss out on something good that happens, when the team/club turns the corner to be competitive enough to have a team that can still fail but are acknowledged as trying. been through many a season like that. But there comes a time when it just happens, you break the tie of making the effort yourself because you've had enough and it's nothing to do with being a losing side. There are so many reasons fans who joined in, supported and gave much (that includes money) to be part of the family, get disillusioned. See todays remarks after two defeats versus Sheffield.
But it's much more than the local club also.

You go and you do it because it’s what you do,you feel part of it,you like the cameraderie it brings and it’s your club,or at least it feels like it’s your club. It becomes a habit and no amount of bad things which happen are going to break that habit, you will put up with pretty much anything in persuit of your club. There’s always next time and you don’t want to miss whatever it is when it happens,so you stick at it and the habit continues over and over again. You even go sometimes when you’re not really bothered, you’re tired after a hard week,or it’s hammering down with rain. You even go when it’s snowing the habit has become that bad and you just can’t break it. And then eventually over time, one day you realise it’s not “your” club it’s their club,Mr Blacks club, just a money making machine and a business to them taking “your” money without giving you the best product they could possibly offer you. Whatever it was you didn’t want to miss still hasn’t happened, even now ten years on you think we still play second fiddle to those bloody Steelers, just like we did five years before that, because their club wants to win more than yours does. Resentment sets in because you feel you’re being shortchanged and lots of your mates feel the same way. Slowly your mates drift away and things just aren’t the same anymore, you try to keep going and give it another year or so but nothing changes,it never does at Panthers, you thought it might last year and the year before but it didn’t and eventually you decide to call it a day. Then you find, yes there are other things to do,plenty of other things, good things and when you look back you think, why the hell did it take me so long to realise ! I did all this and now I look back and just quietly smile to see that Groundhog Day is still playing and people are still complaining about exactly the same things that were happening five, ten and fifteen years ago. Things won’t change unless you change it and it’s nice to look back and smile.

Well, I made the decision to walk away for those reasons Ignala. It feels like his club! I loved the play offs at Wembley, going to away games, Fred Perlini, Barry, the bench clearances but the sport is now a bit characterless and well....boring and predictable. We try and stay around fourth rather than having a second place is first loser mentality. I took another look just in case last September and decided that I wouldn't bother. I will do the same next summer but can predict the result.

All these thoughts are pretty much spot on. I first starting going in the Heineken leagues when there was plenty of action goals and scraps.. we had a coach who got the best from his small budget and did recruit some very very good players and we competed most seasons . As time went on into the superleague we did our best to keep up with the arena teams but ultimately couldn't. The one rink team who could break into that was Bracknell
As we moved into the new arena I was excited as I thought we could finally compete with the bigger crowds and ultimately bigger budgets yet it soon became clear black was not putting money back into the playing staff.
I reckon panthers have only put top quality teams on the ice over a 3 year span (2011-2013) in the new building .. 3 years in 21 !! I'm not sure what happened but since then black just hasn't backed any coach who's come in.. this is coupled with how the game is going and less hits and scraps to get the crowd going . The general quality is at a all time low from what I've seen on highlights etc. The league is still being ran like a back street garage as well which doesn't exactly make them credible either
I haven't been to a game in near on 2 years. I don't miss it one bit.. sad really . Hard core fans who want to win have slowly dwindled and been replaced by happy clappers .. you just have to see on social media how many darent say anything bad towards them and lap up everything they say. It's awash with it especially Twitter.
There's plenty else to do . I don't live local anymore which makes my decision not to go easier anyway.

Hard to say. All I can say is I am no long a ST holder. In the 80s it was unpredictable and exciting, in the 20s with all our resources it should be predictable with Panthers winning relentlessly. It's predictable but we are run by a businessman who wants to strip the fan base of both their pennies and dignity. Those that attended yesterday got what they deserved...

And these owners still claim hardship and that there’s no money to be made in the EIHL. Yeah right O !!!

Just look at their crowds over the last few weeks and they have WAY more sponsor deals than us too. I know that it was difficult for GM to work on the sponsorship side over past months obviously but I have very little faith on the future with this with the people involved with that now

There were not 6800 in the building yesterday, I know they count the season tickets whether you turn up or not but there were loads of seats available and I mean loads
