Clan will not win the league, simply put they are not good enough, short of bodies, its Cardiff's to lose, but I can't see that happening unless the move to the new barn causes them to implode.

Finnerty will go up on the wall of fame and the picture has been leaked.

Well if Clan do go on to win the league at least you won't be able to point the finger at Flyers for it happening as we have nearly done everything we can to prevent it.
Clan have lost 10 regular time games all season, Flyers have won 5 of them with still one game to go and we have also won the season series against them and from watching them last night the pressure seems to be getting to them again and they need a cool calm presence but unfortunately they have Finnerty and that for me will always be their downfall.
I think this weekend has cost them the league what with their injuries and serious lack of discipline

The question is tho' if Clan do not win the league does Finnerty get the sack like Corey last year? & probably will do again this year if we have the same outcome.

I wonder how the fans would feel about that actually? Clan have always been a bunch of happy clappers, but expectation must surely be growing there now and taking the edge off their new team enthusiasm, perhaps not for a league win but for some silverware (conference doesn't count)? I would expect him to be replaced if he draws another blank this year.

After the weekends results it's now a fight for 2nd and with their extra three players out injured and I'm speculating a match ban or two to be handed out by DOPS they'll be looking to drop even more points, Cardiff's to loose but with them changing rinks they won't have the usual intimidating home ice advantage, still think there's a lot left in this season

Yes what I meant was that after sitting watching Panthers do virtually nothing about their injuries,it would be extremely frustrating to see the Clan suddenly bring in a couple of players as cover. Especially as Panthers crowds have gone up again this year and if anything Braeheads seem to have gone down a bit !

Come on Pidge we have had the same drivel all season and still nothing.. no replacement for Schultz an inferior month late replacement for Wiikman and no replacement at all for Dimmen and lets not kid ourselves the only reason we got Lawrence was one in the eye for Sheffield and he approached the club so all it cost was his temporary ongoing wage, no transfer, no flights etc etc..
The club have ruined what was potentially one of the best teams this year by inadequate support throughout the season not only by playing an import short but not replacing even temporarily key imports when they got injured and now with Ling gone it will only get tougher..
All other teams this season have been quick off the mark to bring in replacements to key personnel when injuries etc strike including Clan, that is apart from panthers..

Pinc's been back in for a few games now, doubt they're looking for a replacement.

Pinc IS the cover, they sacked their number one in favour of him, why would they go looking for another cover of the cover who is fully fit..

Pinc isnt the cover anymore, or are you saying that Day is their main goalie?

And in comes the first replacement player for the Clan. Doubt Finnerty is in trouble given his 2yr contract and the injury problems they have. Hopefully this is the last year of conferences and soccer mentality determining league champions.

Another defeat for Clan tonight. They'll be lucky to finish above us this year, let alone first.
