Didn't think we were 5-0 better than them personally, they got some good looks on Kowalski, who was excellent. Decent game though.

Didn't think we got out of second gear - always appeared to be on top - glad KWall got a SO well deserved - can someone put our second goal on Youtube best laugh I have had for a long time - have to say Blaze never really looked like scoring

Very solid peformance, played very very well and strolled past a poor Coventry team.
Seriously hope that nasty hit by Omarra on Stevie Lee gets the dirty Simms a pasting sometime in the future !

They obviously have a lot of problems there on and off the ice. Tendler looks a mere shadow of the player her was and Arnt, Tanaka and Goertzen were anonymous tonight.

Corey talks in the NEP about new systems (crediting Strachs for it)... I was expecting a slower, more dull affair based on that write-up... it was anything but! The two descriptions that I'd use for that performance would be "high energy" and "relentless"... and it was very good to see. Coventry had a slightly longer bench than we did (and even then we had and EPL two-way and poor old Sam Oakford having to play forward!) but you'd have thought that we had an extra line over the Blaze. Now, to give the Blaze some credit, they came out of the blocks quite fast and hard, and they kept that up for most of the game... had some good chances, too. Despite the scoreline, they do not look like a ninth-placed team. But they were comprehensively outclassed. Near the end of the game, we were discussing the MoM award - and had trouble deciding on whoit should be (always a good sign) - Doucet, Mosey, Wild, Lacho, Benedict, Boxill, and of course Kowalski... all could have been in with a shout. How freakin' fast is Doucet? That goal of his... his acceleration was incredible - I thought Mosey was fast after a couple of recent displays, but I think Doucet has even him beat. And, as always, the fantastic entertainment that is Brian Stewart. Oh how I hope Coventry re-sign him for next season... his head-exploding antics are worth half the ticket price alone!

Solid performance against an abysmal blaze team. We look a different side to a few months ago. Actually passing, working and executing as a unit, a team. Credit to corey and the guys for turning it round. K-wall looks to be back to his best, may even go beyond that now he has competition.
Diserpointed in the refs and the blaze. The 2 man system is a waste of time. The blaze were always going to go head hunting. Disgraceful head shot on lee, should be 3-5 games for that. We have to expect injuries playing the euro style with no toughness. That's why id like to see at least another signing on the roster, we need cover to continue the title chase.

Doucet was desperate for a goal. He was trying so hard and at some points even doing a bit too much so I'm glad he got his goal. Thought Oakford didn't do too bad as a forward! Never gonna be a good attacker but blended in well. Betteridge needs signing ASAP. Also thought Schmidt had one or his better games for us last night too

Very comfortable win and a solid performance.
Really impressed with Doucet so far. Hard working, serious set of wheels and an eye for goal.
Nice return for K-wall with a shutout and MOM.
Only obvious downside is the injury to Steve Lee which looked a bad one.
Quite disappointed with Blaze after their recent improvement. Expected a much sterner test. Thanks to Brian Stewart for his customary dramas though. Brilliant.

Got a 'Gordie' last night. He's become increasingly influential for Panthers in recent weeks in my opinion, as has Boxill. Another example of players improving their game under our coaching regime, like Lepine, and it's great to see.

If it wasn't for Kowalski's shut out Farmer would have been my man of the match. Plays his role so well and scores too, my wife loves him. Thought it was a great team effort last night and I believe some of the credit for the recent upturn must go to Benedict as captain. His leadership seems to have injected energy and drive into the players, a reflection of his own attitude. It seems certain that O'Marra will get a ban for the hit on Lee but as far as I can see this will only be an advantage to our opponents. We lose another player but everyone else gets to play a weaker Blaze. It is what it is however.

I enjoyed that game last night, nice to see we've stepped up the intensity which has been missing so much this season, Benedict is leading by example and the others seem to be following him, everywhere I looked he seemed to be there.
Farmer had another great game and Kowalski seemed as sharp as ever, almost like he's never been away! I just hope we aren't short benched for too much longer as we'll run of steam eventually.
Blaze...didn't look that interested for large parts, must be so frustrating for the their fans...oh well

I think the biggest concern with that hit, is that a penalty was not signalled at the time, and when they did call something, checking to the head was not even mentioned.

So O'Marra will probably miss less games than the player he injured ... Great.
