Not sure what to make of this team, playing good away and poor at home but just getting over the line, some around me tonight saying not many of these players will be here next year, needs wholesale clear out and start afresh, for me I like Wild, Modig & Higgins even he is hit and miss and the rest what can you say!!!!!! I think Mosey should be added to that list, and Benny & K-wall obviously.

Unfortunately, I think Kwall is playing his last season, the injuries appear to be taking their toll, I just hope we retire his shirt at the end of the season as he's been outstanding. I'm incredibly impressed with Modig though and I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

I agree with you Biglad about Mosey, I like him he brings intensity, finished checks and can play

I agree with you Biglad about Mosey, I like him he brings intensity, finished checks and can play I think we are getting good value out of Mosey. Not the greatest player by any means, but gives it all he has every shift and I would guess he is one of the lower earning imports on the roster (based on previous career). He is more than doing the job I expected of him when we signed. Probably the only import who has exceeded my expectations to be honest. We have potential in the squad but I still believe we have too many "OK" imports and no game changers - we need a shake up to be real contenders. The D is not too much of a concern - despite turnovers, inability to clear the zone etc. they are keeping goals against down to an extent that allows us to compete in almost every game. It's clear the problem is scoring enough to capitalise on that tight defence. Assuming Clarke's wages will be paid out by insurance, combining his and an existing import's pay should enable us to sign a real impact player (if available of course) to boost our chances of being there or thereabouts come March/April. But which import forward do we sacrifice? Lawrence is inconsistent and makes lazy and basic errors on a regular basis but his goals probably make him bulletproof at the moment (he has also upped his game after the coach telling him to pull his socks up). Graham is a disappointment this season, made more frustrating by the fact we know he can do so much better. Higgins is the opposite of Mosey - severely underperforming for what I would guess he is being paid, although he is starting to get more involved in games and thought he played well against Blaze yesterday. Parent seems to be contributing very little, no offensive threat but not showing me any great energy, intensity or defensive quality either, a bad combination. Benedict is on a terrible run of form at the moment too, while Jacina (apart from the Boxing Day game) has struggled to maintain his early season form. If Corey is looking to make a change, there are plenty of candidates!

Something i've mentioned before is the change in style we are playing, whilst i agree Higgins is not at the standard we'd expect, im not sure he's got the freedom he'd like. Think i heard Corey mention there are times when they are intentionally holding him back. Our current dump and chase does little to help the more skilled players show what they can do in terms of bursting through a defence (Higgins, Lachowicz), im not saying that if we reverted back to a more "Sexy Neilson" style that it would see some players improve however id love to see some players given the chance to show us what they can really do.
Im a Jacina fan, i think he's one of our better players along with Wild and i like Berube and Mosey too.
I see Lawrence got player of the week... imagine if he was fully fit/playing to his fully ability (Delete as appropriate)
