Is Parent injured, he was garbage, waste of a good import space and Graham's not much better

So was the 3rd goal correctly given, or should it have been scrubbed out?
Thought we were lucky today tbh, think we've been pretty lucky the last 2 games now actually.

Let's not beat around the bush, that was awful. No intensity and couldn't string two passes together again. There wasn't even much effort in the Ole's at the end.
I am a big fan of Lee but his defending for the second goal was embarrassing.
I'll take the two points but the same problems aren't going anywhere fast.

Winning goal looked ok to me.
Can see why Stewart thought he was sitting on it,but it was just about free,if he had been sitting on it then Boxill wouldn't have been able to tap it in the net.

Why wasn't Stewart called for a penalty when he whacked his blocker against the plexi after the goal. Nu77er

Brian Stewart is my favourite player to watch in the league.

Decent performance from most of the players tonight, a few hiccups in defence cost us the goals.. both of which should not have happened if our defence was awake. Lawrence had a pretty poor game tonight, we need to swap him and Wild around when on the PP or when we're in the oppositions zone.. Lawrence always goes to the edge of the FM Suddafix face-off circle, Wild on the Blue line.. Lawrence has pretty crap puck control and passing but has an absolute rocket of a shot, Wild is decent in the control and passing departments but his shot is nothing on Lawrences so swap them around, get Wild to feed Lawrence a flat pass and Lawrence should be able to get a slapshot or one timer on net.
Stewart's actions tonight were understandable yet worthy of punishment, the way he goes over to the officials is in a more than threatening manner, as well as his smashing tehe stick across the plexi.. 10 Minute Misconduct at the end for Abuse but that isn't enough, he's a danger to the officials and opposition players. Needs calming down, suspend him.

Scruffy win, will take it any day though.
Lawrence looks injured, others look knackered.
3rd goal was good, the puck was loose. How didnt something get called on Stewart though, the only reason he didnt get to the ref like a mad man was due to him slipping and a lino grabbing him. Then he had too further moans at the ref.
Would love Tanaka in our team too.

Anyone else notice when Lawrence gave the puck away on the blue line and Blaze broke, Lawrence got back and poked away the puck but fell into the boards? He got up like he'd hurt his neck a little

That was awful. For all this team's faults we've made it to the end of 2014 only four points off the top of the league, how the hell did that happen?

Re the 3rd goal, the puck was free, but thought we had a man in the crease, in fact they were between stewart and the goal. As for his antics, should have had 10 mins for abuse of official at the time if not game, when the linesman got hold of him to stop him getting at the ref he swung his arm and hit the linesman around the head area (match), smashing his stick against the plexi (unsportsmanlike), having another go at the refs at the end of the game and again after the handshakes.
The game in general, we were not very good and it shows. Blazes first goal was another failed clearance and tendler had all the time in the world to put it in a virtually open net. Tanaka went coast to coast and no one stopped him. We seemed to be playing a dump and not chasing game, the blind passes to either no-one or the opposition all the time. We were lucky tonight because blaze weren't good either, same as Saturday.

Thought we dominated large parts of the game without posing a serious threat to the Blaze goal. Still need a goalscorer and more consistency. Lee was shocking on their second goal, should have cleaned the blaze player out but just let him skate by. Don't really know what to make of it. We're still in the mix but we're basically crap.

Infact this is the worst year of EIHL hockey I can remember.

It's lucky that Blaze are awful at the mo, coz that game was so bad.
I'll take the two points though.

Not sure what to make of this team, playing good away and poor at home but just getting over the line, some around me tonight saying not many of these players will be here next year, needs wholesale clear out and start afresh, for me I like Wild, Modig & Higgins even he is hit and miss and the rest what can you say!!!!!!

A bit desperate again but I think that's it from now until the end of the season, if we had the money to make changes surely they'd have happened by now.
Can't win a face off, if that stat was recorded like SOG I'm sure we'd be the worst in the league, it's really embarrassing.
However, I did enjoy it this afternoon, more because of the antics of Stewart, certainly nothing to do with the quality of ice hockey on offer. Interestingly there were lots of conversations around me from long standing fans who are pretty shocked at the standard we are delivering this year, so I think the negative opinion on the team is much wider than the few who express their opinions on here.

Cant work out how we came blasting out of the traps a 3mph and then worked our way up to a heady 5mph and managed a make a deeply troubled Blaze team look so good for so long. We had it all tonight when it comes to luck but we did get the points (usually we play badly and loose so a step in the right direction I guess) and Tanaka using just about an entire Panthers line to show off how to slalom around 5 static players and still score was just showing off and well done for making us all here on our row smile Most Panthers teams in recent years would rip this team to shreds but then I think the same can be said of some of the other bigger teams too.

Lawrence looks seriously unfit. He get's to mid period and can barely keep up. He has the shot but the fitness is appalling.

Probably was sound but it would be unprofessional to release highlights with Gary and Kowalski laughing at Stewart....

You can see why Stewart was so incensed,, he got clattered by one of our players who then stood inside the crease when the goal was scored.

It was actually Blaze No. 72 who pushed our player ( Boxhill?) Into Stewart. I thought it would be washed out for man in the crease but difficult to see from the top of 14. We need to play better than that on Sun or blaze will have us.
