OK we know someone will be coming in. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but who?
McAslan has already been mentioned. Any other players out there and unsigned that you would like to see at the NIC?
I will start by getting these names out of the way. ;D
Jinman Craighead Cadotte Drouin Wallenberg

I think i remember Gerard Adams saying that Prpich would have to apply for a work permit and then fly back to Canada before he could play over here as he is not over on a working permit so that would be no quicker than signing somebody else from abroad.

Oh, Not the quick and easy option he may have appeared then.

Best throwing Molin out there too - we know everyone loves a good Molin rumour! Taking the thread off topic BUT I wander if Dalgleish coudl be bought in as a short term replacement for Levers.

Also, with regards to Levers, I wander if there are any 2 way deals we could do with an EPL club - possibly bring James Ferrara back for a bit from Peterborough if hes still with them?
I know my speculation has been on ex-panthers players but in a situation like this, thewy always seem the best bet!

I cant see any two-way players being much better than Josh Ward, and if he is to get more ice team as Levers is out, then in the long term it can only benefit us.

we did have a european dman lined up to play if Guy Lepine didnt arrive for the start of the season i wonder if this unknown player is still an option, lets face it we havent realy lacked fire power up front but maybe an extra dman would keep the goals against down a bit

What about this bloke.
Eric Beaudoin
Played 7 games for Newcastle Vipers in 05/06. Can't remember him to be honest. Looks a big lad with a good career.

I'd quite like another D-man..it would stop me from having a heart attack when we go 3-0 down in 5 minutes or we're winning 5-0 and the score changes to 5-3.
Extra D-Man please!! some big stay at home in the mould of nick toneys..a player you hardly notice but does his job!

Really can't see Corey replacing a forward with a D man. Especially when he already has 6 d men playing regularly.

Without doubt the second best player in the league that year (after that fleury chap), and the best quality Viper I've ever seen. Made everything he did on the ice look stupidly easy. Worked hard, was no surprise when the top Finnish league came after him. Obviously a few years have passed since then, but at the time he was way to good for the EIHL.

Thought you would know about him Rangers. He looks good to me and with that endorsement the search is over. Sign him up CN. ;D Seriously though it sounds like a shame he did not stay for the full season.

I seriously hope Derek Campball does not play for us. I just don't like him as a player!

Yeah - would be very impressed if you signed 'The Big E' Although it doesn't look like he has played for a couple of years.
