Now 200 is a better figure than the first I was made aware of. I gather it was a 'tongue in cheek' moment from someone that made me think it was rather lower than this. How many can fit into 'Saltbox'? Larger than that 200? Better to allocate a ticket rather than show up and not get in of course but wondering if there was a venue larger that could take unused space as not a negative.

Versus USA I’m glad the refs felt it needed to award us a power play when it was far too late. After Finland, a time to rest and recuperate. Much to fight for against Latvia but more importantly Austria if we are still in reach.

Looks like the EIHL are putting out the end of season average TOI stats up, starting today with Giants. Wonder what Panthers will look like? One of the stats missing. Better late than never.

How limited? No where available taking a bigger crowd. Not sure what’s to ‘finalise’.

Disappointing, but a point on the board at least Given other results so far in the group I can't help thinking a win over Norway would have been particularly useful to keep them below is for now Pity the USA messed about with Austria letting them get a point. However it will probably go down to the wire with that last game. We so nearly took all 3 points...wow.

GB 3-0 down, definitely heading back to 1A at this point Don’t give up yet. Whilst the refs are definitely not on our side. We have other games. By the way what’s the going rate on buying a penalty these days?. Looks like some super glue needed on those Norwegian sticks.

Taken from Steeltalk 6”6” 230lb Nottingham defenceman Josh Tetlow has left the club to sign with Lapland based Finnish Mestis (2nd tier) side RoKi Hockey. The 24 year old Englishman iced 246 times for Nottingham, winning the Elite Series. and this is how his new club announces player contracts ! 'The club will publish player contracts at the pace of the progress of the ongoing season ticket challenge. For every 100 cards booked, one player agreement will be published. More than 600 cards have already been booked during the campaign, which has been going on for about a week, and with it six player contracts have now been published.' Well, I have 255 games - 5 + 20 for 25 points and 114 penalty minutes. Season | Games | Goals | Assists | Points | Pims | 17-18 | 41 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 06 | 18-19 | 71 | 0 | 6 | 6 | 43 | 19-20 | 60 | 0 | 6 | 6 | 15 | 20-21 | 16 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 18 | 21-22 | 67 | 3 | 6 | 9 | 32 |

Only just watched the interview piece. Nothing to moan about, said the right things. Things I wanted to hear. What might be claimed as the obvious but he's saying what we have been saying for ages so maybe the penny has dropped.

Only just noticed the two additional challenge games for GB pre WC. All four now noted in the Great Britain part eleven. Its two more games v Italy. One this Thursday 5th May in Milton Keynes and one on the 10th May in Coventry again against them. The two original games versus Denmark sandwiched between on the weekend dates of the 7th and 8th, Coventry and Nottingham.

Was on the sheet as playing. So what was it..,,a benched shirt or never used? All the shirts have been cleverly listed as "Game issued/worn" which means that whatever happens any and all shirts printed for the playoffs can be auctioned. Even spotted some "blood" shirts without names up for grabs Yea, I noticed this earlier when I posted it on the other section ( sales, wants and Swaps) in this forum. That 92 and 93 was it? 'Game issued' is the ploy.

Someone might want to double-check my maths but just calculated our win loss ratio before and after Wallace's departure as we're all currently reflecting on events from this season... Under Wallace: From 26/9-5/1 14W and 15L in league games for a 0.48 win percentage 5W and 3L in Challenge Cup games for a 0.62 win percentage Under Matheson and Whistle From 6/1- end of season (including POQF calculated as a single aggregate game as it counted that way for POFW qualification) 16W and 21L league games for a 0.43 win percentage 1W and 2L in Challenge Cup games for a 0.33 win percentage On paper it looks like it made as much difference as it seemed to on the ice often. Thoughts people....? Wasn’t good either way. Wallace was fired but anyone could have gone. Could both have gone?

Oh wait, maybe they're paying extra for the cleanliness bonus... ...as it didn't get as much playoff use as many others on our team??? I'd already forgotten he was out injured, so it's not even a game worn. Bob's right of course, it's not my money, but it is pretty staggering. Imagine if we'd been a decent side? Was on the sheet as playing. So what was it..,,a benched shirt or never used?

Promised I'd get back to you about any changes to stats and I've completed going through the GRS on the OS. One deleted assist, some added and even TOI and SOG to Kerlin added. Next step is to check all my stats add up correctly to the GRS totals before I add them to the 'All-Time' stats and pen them on here for you to peruse. This has been done now as regards CUP, League and PO stats ( after noticing a couple of late GRS changes) giving us a final all season total. So these have been finalised. I.ve just to update the All-Time stats and these will be seen on here in the next few days. Otherwise have a good Summer.

Laughing at the tweets suggesting Panthers never won a Grand Slam in 2013 following on from Belfast missing out. I can only assume if Elite transpired to have brought about 6 competition titles in a season and their team win 5 ( inc. Cup League and PO) it be accepted that it was not a GS, yet anyone wins 3 of 3 and are acknowledged. Glad Cardiff won the last of three major competitions.

I haven’t a clue. So hope whatever is done is done to get back on top of things and that includes remembering who sits in the seats also.
