Maybe Danny Stewart heading to Dundee and Ceman to Fife? With Hartmanis keeping him company in Fife, and IIRC being named assistant coach (don't quote me on that though, not sure if true), I don't know if Stewart would make the switch. Part of me is screaming COST CUTTING in Dundee if the crowds are down, and they know they have Hughes in the frame. I can't see DS leaving Fife but never say never I suppose. The lure of a coaching job may prove too much. Siddall is assistant player-coach, Danny got made Captain.

Good, one less team to overcome in our pursuit of glory. Good to see you care about the sport.

out of interest, what is the heaviest defeat anybody can remember? 20 March 1988. Whitley Warriors 23 Panthers 1 (after we'd lost 19-4 at Durham the previous Sunday). You young 'uns are spoiled these days. I bet the Warriors goalie was more miffed at losing a goal than the Panthers fans that night ;D

Sign up 3 Looneys, rest K-wall and run their Netty, then clear the bench. This is the only way i'll buy a ticket. So you fancy watching a Giants game?

Ok, can they be bought online? I went to the online store and didn't see any game DVDs for sale (not expecting tonight's game to be up there but I thought there would have been others). Don't think so Sparky. If you want though - if they're on sale at Saturday's game I can grab you a copy since I'm coming up to Fife the next day? That would be awesome mate, let me know how much and I can either transfer you the money via bank or square up when you come up next Sunday. Much appreciated.

Their netminder was a ninja machine that drank oil for the duration of the game. PMSL, awesome ;D

Whilst they all undoubtedly have talent, does the fact that they play in a strong Panthers team mean they have more opportunity to shine? Put one of those players in the Flyers team and I doubt you'd see them do so well!

Not far to travel to Braehead from Dundee. Could be worse, they could be in Dundee then realise they should be in Cardiff

Quite surprised that a club as professionally ran as Nottingham don't have something like this, but on reflection I can see why. I would imagine though that the Panthers fans would still rather go to the NIC and it would be the away fans that would benefit/use this the most.

Just like to thank you guys for doing this as it allows those that can't travel that much to away games to see what's happening around the country.
Keep up the good work ;D

We have learnt that games against Dundee, Fife, Edinburgh & Hull are likely to be one sided megaboring games that are not likely to be worth watching. We have learnt that buying a season ticket is not good value for money. We have also learnt that if the league lasts in its entirety to the end of the season it will be a miracle. I believe the above is based more on fact than opinion.!!! Lol, some folk need to get a grip. I presume you won't be supporting your team anymore and will sit at home watching the NHL on TV

Top quality prediction and nice to see Cardiif beat Steelers 4-0 same night and Heerema scored first goal - should have put money on that after the thread about him earlier in the week ! 6 goals and 5 different scorers - I see a pattern emerging A goals a goal but even he didn't look too chuffed about it, given that his shot was actually going a foot wide from close in and took a nasty deflection and ended up sliding through Zemlaks legs. I thought he looked disappointed in his shot to be honest.

Does Clarke fancy men in stripes? He spends most of the game talking/moaning at them?

Money being tight and unemployment probably applies to almost all teams nowadays. Another advantage that Nottingham and Belfast have is owners that have the money and business know how to market their product.
Most of the other teams barely have the money to recruit and run their teams, never mind a marketing budget.
Kirkcaldy has a population of less than 50,000. The lowest of all the teams in the EIHL (and probably quite a lot of the EPIHL). And whilst fans don't just come from Kirkcaldy, Fife's population is around 350,000. So for us to get a crowd of 1,500 to 2,000 is purely based upon us having hockey for so long. I'd love to see the crowds we could get if someone with some marketing know how and a bit of spare cash to spend on it was to put the effort in.

I'm more worried about the fife flyers who have only signed 5 imports, I can't see them competing with only 5 imports, In truth I can not see any of the scottish teams competing except between themselves. and even then there will be lop sided results. Waiting on Visas on another two. Reckon we will eventually get more, but their waiting to see what the attendances are going to be like before committing more cash.
