Rumour is that Rab Cowan will retire if they don't go to a 4 man system, the games too fast for them. They have to do the full 60 minutes (at least the players get a breather) and have to travel from end to end to try and keep up with the play, something they obviously struggle with.

Be good to have the play-offs back at Wembley. Not so sure the same guy owning 3 clubs in the same league is a good move?

Getting no sound which for a radio station is pretty crucial ;D Is this a Nottingham area only thing?

The fact is though the goals were rightly disallowed I have always been taught as a defender to push a player into the crease as the goal shouldn't stand.... but you have to find a way to win despite the referee's decisions. Think your "teacher" needs to read the rules

The tie was lost I feel with the 2 5v3 PPG we conceded on the Saturday. Nottingham never really looked like scoring until the PP's.
As for the "goals" last night, I would actually argue that the 2nd should have stood. The Fife player was pushed into the crease and ended up lying face down on the ice. The rules are clear that if the player is in the crease because the defending player put him there, the goal should stand. If the ref waved the goal off because of that, then surely he should have then called the Fife player for goaltender interference?

Get to the rink early, the nic staff need help replacing the plexi glass with ply wood. K-Wall needs it for his 5-hole after last night

Why is it as quick? The board was held in by the strips where as the glass has the pads on ect & goes into the board I've seen glass put in in 4 minutes flat. Cardboard took 10 minutes. They just flubbed around like it had never happened before. It hasn't. And it's not plexi, it's proper glass which is pretty thick so I imagine weighs quite a bit.

The choice was offered of the board or glass. The board was chosen as it was quicker but after getting it fitted, Nottingham changed their mind and the ref ended the game. Thankfully we won't have the same ref tomorrow, sick of the poor Scottish ref's this season.

Fair play to Fife for putting a feed on but I'll pass thanks. Its 'Sensational Live' doing the coverage and given how poor their feeds have been of late, the accusations relating to ISPs being at fault, issues relating to getting refunds etc, without wanting to sound tight, £8 is too much for the gamble. I don't think you're being tight. In general the webcasts have been the poorest they've every been across the league this season. The last one Fife did was absolutely dreadful (even if it was free). The bottom line is that £8 is a lot of money for the product you actually get. It would be better to charge a promotional price, say £3-4 and people wouldn't mind taking the risk. If its a success then people would trust the product and wouldn't mind spending the £8 asking price. The reason for that was because the demand was way more than it ever would be for a paid product. I believe the club said it had over 10,000 viewers at one point. (I'm not 100% on this number but I do know it was quite high)

It would, apart from the fact that we've bought all of their allocation in block 6 So why have allocated blocks if it's first come, first served? Some fans might have been hanging off to see if their team even make the play-offs.

You will if its one of the Scottish refs. You guys moan about the refs you see down there week in/week out, but these guys are a whole other level of poor. You complain about the standard of refs...what happened to Moray Hanson? How are the refs assessed and checked over for their competence plus thier ability to deal with some of the fights/brawls we have seen this season Moray is/was very ill (Cancer). The plan was for him to be the Simon Kirkham for the Gardiner conference.

Looks like Fife will have the biggest crowd of the season tonight, it's going to be tough with that loud home support willing on the Flyers for two points! Huge game and for about the first time this season they are at full strength with 11 imports!!!! Our biggest so far was v Dundee at Xmas, just over 2000. Not sure if there are as much as that tonight but still a good crowd. Good few hundred Panthers fans adding to the good atmosphere.

The box office closes at 9pm. send Sarah a message in the Panthers office she's really good, explain what the box office has said to you and see if she can do anything for you. Sarah@panthers.co.uk Thank you. I had already emailed the info address above but have now also emailed Sarah, verging on spam ;D

You could always ask for them to be sent via email to yourself it doesnt take 2 mins for them to get into the file and redirect them. Let us know if they dont contact you back someone here will take it up for you. Thanks. Whilst the guy was pleasant on the phone, they did sound busy so I'm expecting to be forgotten about and have to chase them up on the phone. What time do the ticket lines close? It said on the site they opened at 8am which turned out to be 9am so I'm not sure if they really close at 9pm. Plus the fact that it's not really up to them, but the Panthers.

If the worst happens, try going on the Clan board and see if any of them will take the tickets off you. I did think of that but they are "for collection" and you need to show Id and the card you paid with to collect them. I'll be in Sheffield when the Clan are playing Panthers.

Just a quick question. I'm coming down for the game this weekend so thought I'd book my tickets online. I stupidly however booked tickets for the Braehead game by mistake. Please tell me the arena will allow me to move this booking to the Flyers game on the Sunday? Was that a Freudian slip 'sparkymark75'? Seriously though, hope you get sorted out OK. Lol, nope. I just hope it doesn't out to be an expensive slip
