We could always try and get Brett Gallant. I wonder if Bordeleau would like to get to know him again?
That had to hurt!

I hear Nick Tarnasky is a free agent. Hey, a man can dream, right? I mentioned him recently on this thread, would be an ideal Janssen replacement... Just with a few more points. I would expect a lot more goals from him thats for sure 15 in the ahl last year. Park him in front of goal on the PP maybe we'll even score on some this year.

Steelers thought they could win last night. We didn't when we played. I think they got their hopes up after the hv71 game. They played well against a top Swedish team. However when i watched the game and i did think hv71 weren't really trying. I didnt bother saying anything on the forums because you just end up sounding bitter. The difference with Red bull was that they came to play. Then the gulf is class becomes very obvious. The Eihl is a long way behind top euro leagues in quality. And to compound the problem our teams aren't allowed to play the style of hockey they want to play because of reffing. This has plauged every British team in Europe for years. That being said i still like that our teams to play in the CHL. 1. Any publicity is good publicity. 2. It gives a good yard stick. Its should help show if the league is improving over the years as teams slowly close the gap. But we a long way off competing seriously. I agree about HV71, until their coach had a go no one seemed interested. No surprise that after than they score 2 quick goals.

They look pretty good I think but not 70 quids worth of good I'm afraid. I'll wait and pick up one of the inevitable charity ones. At least the cash goes to a good cause.

GM is on the mic, it's too late for us but save yourselves! What language is he speaking? I think I detected a bit of Klingon!

The namebars are stitched on I think and I know Clan's last season had the club crest stitched on too. IceLocker will no doubt offer the same printing they did last season so we wouldn't get the namebar. The price is £10 more, £15 if you want a name/number.. Hardly a bank breaking increase. It's still a lot of money but if you were willing to spend £60 then it's hardly an issue. The jersey in that photo in the office won't be it, that's been in there for about a year. Likely one of the favourite examples CH Sport sent last season. I'd argue a 15% increase is pretty hefty for those of us with families.

I'm not bothered that I paid to go see the game on Saturday as I am at how amateurish the situation is. You only have to look at Cardiff and Sheffields approach. Very frustrating.

Confirmed as Warrior on Twitter.
I am very much on the positive side with panthers but, damn do they make it hard! How is it possible to be that bad at PR and have a following like we have? Uni students could do a dissertation on it as a true anomaly.

Surely Cardiff should win it this year. They are by far the biggest spenders this season. Just thrown money at it Although is it the Clans time? Would be a travesty if they didn't win it this year. I think the biggest sticking point for Braehead is their coach. Can't see them winning with Finnerty at the helm.

As the title says, what is everyone's prediction?
I am probably being hopelessly optimistic but I think if Wiikman stays fit Panthers take it. If not, then I think it'll be Cardiff.

People need to leave ignila alone.... People can be positive, negative or indifferent but the common theme remains the same, we love the sport. But please can we try and do this whilst allowing people to have their own opinions. But what if their opinion is that Iginla is insufferably irritating on every single thread? Are they allowed that opinion?

If panthers had made that garbage this place would be in uproar. It's in uproar because we do nothing. If we do something there will be done that like it and some that don't. Mostly it would be it's not as good as what {insert team name here} has done. This club is damned if it does and damned if it doesn't.

I can't believe that the first one is winning! If it is then I think there are a lot of fans from other teams who are voting for it haha That's my guess too. Think we are getting trolled hard.

Exactly this, no way i could attend on Boxing Day as it is a family day at our house. However ill be there on the 27th. Not a lot of 'wee wee' being taken really. Good job you aren't a Sheffield fan then,or you would be missing the Xmas Boxing Day home game every year. Think about it,that's exactly my whole point,it should rotate year on year so that people like you don't always miss the Boxing Day home game. Exactly, I missed every Boxing Day game at ours so am quite happy with the change.

In the grand scheme of things does it really matter what day the home game is? A lot of people reserve Boxing Day for family so obviously having the game in Sheffield benefits those who do see their families on Boxing Day. I really don't see how we're getting trodden on by this, it seems it benefits most which is surely a good thing? Exactly this, no way i could attend on Boxing Day as it is a family day at our house. However ill be there on the 27th. Not a lot of 'wee wee' being taken really.

Easily would be the best intro music! It was for a season, circa 2005. I personally like either 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons or 'Gold on the Ceiling' by the Black Keys It was by far the best intro we have had imo. Great song.
