this 20-20 competition is nothing more better than a Sunday five a side competition at a local sports hall like Chilwell olympia , who ever wins will have no bragging rights as amajor trophy won , the Charity shield is on a higher level and no one thinks thats important for bragging rights . Yes its good value £25 for an all day tournament , but times are hard for some folk and I do not think it will get the attendance a major finals or final would get . you will get ripped off for all day drinkers and the food , plus the torture chamber of sitting in those child seats all day . I would rather watch football on sky have my affordable sunday roast , have a kip , and be fresh and ready for work on a monday morning than attend this mickey mouse Hockeyfest.

You enjoy your soccer I suspect many a fan will have the same opinion as the original poster, which is why the top tiesr were only put on sale a few days ago and you can buy tickets on the day. I'll be enjoying some gardening as the weather is lovely outside, and indeed take the family out for a meal later on. No apologies from me for not being a disciple of all things Elite League HL

Sister rang me to say that it's only Sheffield in the top tiers. Obviously they were not too confident of selling beyond bottom tier (as has happened) but at least everyone is closely packed, needed for any TV and atmosphere.Which sis says there is not mmuch of by the way.Sounds ok listening here on radio.McMorrows silly comments for one.

Were saving our players apparently for possible semi and final. Maybe a good move.Had a game last night and also seen Belfast fail in their opener. Save injury? Fresh players? trust in a good team? or mad?...lol

Fair point....as just said on radio. No matter how much we ARE going to say we find this competition ok (Elite promotion etc..) are Panthers bothered?
I was waiting till we had equalised to say that , as much as Elite may put this days winner up on their site I don't class this tourney as a domestic silverware comepetition. Difficult for me to say now as we leak goals, as it sounds like a losers comment.

But certainly it ranks along way behing the challenge cup, playoffs and league. Not even close...

Ohhh.. we might find a few more yorkshire visitors soon after this (assuming we lose) event. Coming out from the woodwork.
Radio says FIRST competituion of the year.Maybe Elite. But that's my point.Like the Hull PO competituion and the Charity game.Just tourneys we engage in. I'll be happy with the League and Cup. Although it would be nice if we did better of course.

Oh I get it... The Panthers are lulling Blaze into a false sense of security in order to give them more of a beating in the league and CC later in the season.... ... or something like that... er... Top of the league - we're having a laugh!
