To get back onto topic... Was that 'extra' food stall there last night? I confess that I didn't get out of my seat during the intervals (too damn tired!) so didn't get around to looking for it. If it was there... was the nosh any good?

Well, true to my word, I tried out the food at that extra stall near the entrance last night.
Hot beef cob with gravy and horseradish sauce (the latter added to taste by the customer) for £2.50.
Verdict? - a big THUMBS UP!!
The beef was hot and good quality... and the lass was slicing the beef off the joint right in front of you, so you could see exactly what you were getting. The cobs were fresh - neither stale nor soggy. The service was good - fast and friendly - and the price was right.
If anyone from the NIC management reads this... that is EXACTLY the model you should be following! A significantly lower price than the burgers etc in the concourse outlets, and vastly higher quality.
That hot beef cob was definitely what I call value for money, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anyone else.

You are asking me for pictures? ;D Sadly not... if nothing else, my mobile is so old/primitive it doesn't even have a camera. But there were 3 nice lasses on the stall - and as mentioned, the service was good - they were friendly and efficient.

Well, each to their own.
I eaten better burgers served from boil-in-the-bag rations. At most it is something to fill a stomach, but if you need to fill your stomach with something flavourless then the super model's favorite, toilet paper, is available for free in the loos.

So as a quick rundown of what we've had from the new stall on the front:
Roast beef this Saturday Roast turkey the week before. We've had roast pork too. (have I missed any?)
What comes next?
I really hope this is a regular thing now, it looked like a one off the first time I saw it (which I think was the first game against the Squeelers for the cheeseboard), but it's stayed so far....
... anybody know for sure?
