Did you see that second slingshot "effort" in the second interval last night. Blimmin' rubbish. My nan would have got it further. I've never been good at pulling!

I remember that Bracknell trip. Six up in the back of the van on the hard shoulder of the M4, and then those two hitch-hikers we picked up. Your smooth talking of the WPC who knocked on the window was the stuff of legends - a cross between James Bond and Terry Thomas. The things you did with those handcuffs...

Oh yea, the Voth slash. He got 5 games for doing that against Dagenais - wonder how many games he'll get this time?
Cardiff were really dirty - Dean Smith's fault.

Biggest problems on our D are Danny and Corey. Corey takes too many stupid penalties and loses the puck too often. Danny is a shadow of last season, he really is.
Really pleased with Molin and Robinson. Annoyed that neither our tough guys (Ndur and Bergin) did anything to stop all the cheapshotting, but then maybe the reported niggling injuries were affecting them - could explain Bergin's and Toneys' bad games too.
I brought a couple of newbies and they really enjoyed the game, although they did comment on Panthers lack of shooting, especially on the 5on3s.
Bruce and Mark Richardson deserve mentions as well. Mark was best Dman thats for sure.

but the devils were getting away with elbowing, hooking, grabbing sticking all night which went uncalled!! exactly! Voths slash on Bruce springs to mind foremost, and thats just it...Devils were getting away with things and it is highly likely that we wouldnt! Either way like many people have said, 2points for us, and nil points for them lot. ;D

Surprised nobody's mentioned Bruce upending Voth, and then getting his legs hacked away as a thank you. Were the officials the only three people in the building not to see it, or did I imagine it? Voth obviously does not feel he has to be on best behaviour, following recent, and not so recent events. they saw it and bruce was the one that came off lighty out of that, bruce could of easily cost call 2+10 for that hit or even more if he had hurt voth

We were poor very poor, lets not forget Devils were missing 3 import forwards and had an import D man playing on wing. It should of been easy last night but we made it look very hard. Toneys and Meyers had a bit of a mare the puck distribution from the D was shocking all night to be honest, i thought Mark Richardson was about our best D man. Also how the hell did Molin not get MOM? Was a bit embarrasing to say the least, obviously Robinson is the sponsors favourite player! We should do what Giants used to do regarding MOMs, where you text the players shirt number to this set up phone and whoever gets the most votes gets MOM so basically its picked by the fans.

can argue really with whats been said. Bergin was solid if unspectacular.
First time ive seen Robinson. Again consistent. Kept his head in the game.
Shame bout the penalty shot bobbling in.
We made it look VERY hard work last night. Shouldnt have been that hard.
Latulippe looked amazing, so did MacIver, really rate both of them along with Voth... How molin didnt MoM I will never know.
Also.... I appreciate that its our home ice but really... the whole place was up in arms when Molin skated backwards into someone in the neutral zone!!! I was slightly embarrassed!
See that Ferrera hasnt improved much. Nice to see him get smashed by MacIver against the corner I was sat on this time!!! The 'all brit' line did a very good job of holding the play down the devils end.
Overall a really enjoyable game looking back (despite the mountain we made it), some rough stuff, some great goals and some sweet penalty shots (and saves!)

his distribution is horrific, needs to go It gets worse. Ndurs outlet passing was the best on the team last night by a country mile. Im not saying he played well or that I think hes a great player (before i get accused of defending him to the hills again) but once again youve completely shown your lack of knowledge by the bit of a players game youve decided to comment on. Neilson,Toneys and Meyers were all shockingly bad at playing the outlets and only Rumun made consistently tape to tape plays. Not pretty but I said before the game, out of all the games coming up, were bound to go to OT for a couple even if were on form so its not a problem to get that out of the way! I dont think we were saving ourselves for Cov, but might have had an eye on tonights game deep down. Heja has summed everyone up perfectly IMO but Levers sticking up for himself with Maciver took real balls so he went up in my estimation big time. I wish he played like that all the time and stopped complaining to refs. If he played his game and had a bit more arrogance and less "look at me im a victim" he would be a heck of an asset you obviously missed the misplaced passes then rich !!!! funny that ;D

Clipping, submarineing basically, ducking down on him and taking his knees out, you have to make your hit above the knees anything below should be called for a low hit

I thought Voth should have got longer for the slash, It was dirty, twice as bad as the one he did on Dagineais (and got banned for) IMO.

Have you seen the video of the slash? in this case voth was prone on the ice and swung at his legs. I imagine it would have come keen but not much else. The Dagineais thing was a golf swing more or less!

None of those are very good, but, again its Ndur who gets the criticism on here despite him not being the problem. It seems people have just got blinkered views and it doesnt matter what happens, theyve made their mind up. As Iv said, that aint me, I really dont care whether Ndur does well or not, I just happen to think (Injuries aside) hes doing an ok job

A couple of comments were made on the website/NEP (I forget which) that some players were carrying minor injuries I have to say that whenever I see a player who seems to be below par that is always my first thought. I've followed a few sports in my time and not known one like hockey for players continuing to play whilst hurt.

but the one on Bruce was? No wonder other fans accuse us of being 'black and gold tinted' at the best of times. IMO yes. If Bruce was going to the bin and got longer for a low check (IMO it wasn't), then Voth should have gone longer too for the reaction. end.

Galbraith- Vast improvement in the past few games, was not happy when Latulippe scored just after coming out of the box, broke stick on new goals! Naughty! That's because it was his fault. He was last man back on that side, and ficed with skating hard t othe man, or mincing around trying to intercept the pass, he chose the second. It was lazy play which led to a goal.

voth would not have fought as he was on top line and cardiff were short benched. he isnt that stupid. Which is why Corey and Ndur should have been winding him up BIG time!!!
