Certainly a tense game thats for sure, made hard work of it but we got the 2 points in the end. How Molin didnt get MOM i will never know lol, a hat trick, an assist and the winning penalty shot and he didnt win it! Robbo was excellent again though.
I felt Panthers thought the Devils would tire by the end of the game but they didnt, if anything we were the team who looked like we had 12 skaters not Cardiff! They kept hitting (very hard) and skating right till the end, Voth looked like he was about to die of exhaustion!
Dean Smith let A LOT go tonight, some possibly dangerous hits, high sticks and cross checks he just waved off,led to a pretty entertaing game though.
At times Panthers put together some great stuff but then we were very sloppy and unable to clear the zone which nearly cost us.

If we don't clear our zone in the next 3 games we will pay the price. A good 2 points from a poor performance tonight, and with the dingles loosing sets it up for the 2 xmas games

Horrible refereeing yet again. It lead to alot of the problems between players. Plenty of harsh calls against us and let a lot of stuff go for Devils. I'm getting bored of complaining about the standard of refs but it truly is awful.
We played badly. Toneys - have never rated him as highly as people on here and tonight you could see why. Ndur - waste of space. Molin - absolute class - our best player by a country mile. Bergin - solid game and did well in the corners. Robinson - did what any EIHL NM should do - and did it well.
Most of the team played poorly. We got out muscled and bullied all night. VERY disappointed that Ndur was nowhere to be seen while Voth was chipping away all night. We simply do not have an enforcer this season.
We were very lucky to win this game. We need to be much much better over the next few games if we are going to beat Coventry and Sheffield.

I tihink its harsh of you to say we dont have an enforcer this season. Ndur has just beat Cornish already this week and has won more fights than he's lost.
Maybe he didn't ice much as he's one of the players carrying a niggle and is being saved for the BIG game tomorrow night.
Anyway, Corey is probably bricking it thinking Lewis will be after him tomorrow so wanted Ndur fighting fit! lol

dont think ndur and lewis will fight unless a team is getting battered Depends if Lewis backs up his words. I dont think he will as he's not a vindictive kind of player, but depends how much Corey's gotten under Thommo's skin. Which it owuld appear is quite alot. lol

I think there was a bit of do what was needed and save yourselves for tomorrow in that performance tonight. When we needed to we seemed to go up a couple of gears.
If thats the case though I hope tomorrow the result is the correct one but our confidence seems to be back and you cant argue with the recent run. Well done boys

It wasn't pretty, but it was fun. Well, it would have been, if I'd been confident of the result going our way. I think both teams deserved a point and the extra one could have gone to either team on that performance. How long is a player allowed to argue with a ref. before they end up with a misconduct? I kept waiting for Voth to be sent away to cool down for half a period but it didn't happen. Did I see things, or were there... hip checks? Mid-ice hits? It's been so long I almost didn't recognise them.. Congratulations to Molin on the hat-trick and winning penalty shot. I couldn't decide whether I thought MoM should go to him or Robinson. He did almost have that penalty that went past him, too. And here's to you, Michel Robinson, Panthers need you more than you will know. God bless your glove, Michel Robinson. When it stops the puck to make a save, save, save save... (apologies to Simon & Garfunkel )

Not sure about Ndur but by a county mile the worst in the D was meyers gave away the puck and could not pass water, thought the g train was only chugging along as well! plusses were Robinson were are these guys who wrote him off so quickly, Molin obviously, Levers, Tess, mind you his cheapshot was so funny in the third! cooke still gives away the puck to easily and myers was almost invisable for once! Also surprised nobody has mentioned the siily pens corey took all game! The ref was rubbish but we were out muscled far too often anyway!

God they know how to make us nervous don't they, it wasn't the prettiest game but a good result in the end! Molin looked very annoyed about not getting MOM, got a personal thumbs up from him tonight when i took my shirt off and put it on the other way round . Robinson- Quality again! Shutting us up! Toneys- Steady Meyers- Steady Ndur- Hmmm not good, would still prefer Shymrsy back Corey- Battled hard, should have battered Voth Richardson- Worked very hard, a battler! Clarke- Quiet of late, hopefully saving it for the coming games! Molin- 5* - made the right decision with which gameworn i bid for Cook- Slight improvement, needs to do more for me. Galbraith- Vast improvement in the past few games, was not happy when Latulippe scored just after coming out of the box, broke stick on new goals! Naughty! Bergin- Shocker, but everyone is due one Levers- Showing again he is one tough cookie Bruce- Niggly little bleeder, love him! I am so looking forward to next week especially with Shuff losing, maybe its time for their slump! All to play for! COME ON PANTHERS!

Robinson- IMO he was average, untill penaltys where he was very almost un beatable Toneys- Worst game he has had for us Meyers- Poor game, poor choices mainly Ndur- not happy with him in the enforcing stakes tonight but happy with his play does the basics Corey- played like he did in his first season with us tonight, alot of poor decisions Bruce Richardson- same as always, works hard, gives his all, i wanna see him in the play-offs to see if there is a play-off version of him Clarke- Poor game, doing his usual, score about 20 goals in 20 games then only about 10 in the remaining 30 Molin- 5* - Very Very well played again, should of been the easy choice for MOM Cook- Needs to do more as well IMO Galbraith- big improvement, still think he has more to give though, still looks unfit Bergin- played like the rest of the team tonight, pretty poor game from him Levers- right place right time for his goal good goal, absolute FAG though, stop moaning to ref at every little hit, i dont back down from a fight by crying, it wasn't me, it wasn't me Mark Richardson - alright game, solid Tessier - weird one, wasn't at his best but came out with another big points night, 3pts

I too thought Bergin had a stinker - in fact I don't recall seeing an awful lot from him for what seems like quite a while. Was particularly disappointed to see him and Ndur allow Cardiff to get away with so much, especially the targetting of smallest-man-on-the-ice-and-most-important-player-on-the-night Johan Molin. If these guys aren't going to step up on these occasions, you've got to wonder what's the point in having them. Nice to get the points having played poorly but it looked like the bad old days of a few weeks ago for far too much of the game.

Levers- right place right time for his goal good goal, absolute FAG though, stop moaning to ref at every little hit, i dont back down from a fight by crying, it wasn't me, it wasn't meBit harsh to call him that Tim, the amount of times he throws himself in front of the puck and takes the injury to stop the other team from scoring more than makes up for his sometimes moaning at the ref

Doesn't it say something about Ndur that in a game where we pick up 7 roughing penalties our "Enforcer" doesn't get one of them? Several players had poor games and the inability to clear our zone could have caused bigger problems than it actually did. I thought Robinson did all you could ask of him. Came up with some big stops when they were needed. Awful officiating. According to NEP we have him at Coventry tonight where he cost us the points in our first visit earlier this season.

Pretty poor game until we went into overtime but came away happy. Think Robostop and Molin brilliant the rest hopefully saving their tactics for the next 3 games. Anyone know why we seem to be using Levers as our enforcer?

for those that are criticising individuals for the quality of passing etc i think that is unfair, everyone was as bad as each other tbh.
nice to see you've still got the blinkers on pidge, do you actually watch the game or do you just copy and paste the same thing in each game thread? getting beyond boring now.
molin was very good, toneys had an absolute shocker, robinson was solid enough he is earning himself an extended stay with us with his performances, one thing i noticed is he is noticably more vocal than parley was when telling players "man on" etc
it was great to see so many hits thrown around last night, can our fans understand that when maciver is so much bigger than molin it is always going to be a big hit due to the size difference.
overall it was a poor performance but the difference between challenging for the title is winning these sort of games, last season we wouldn't have won the game so i am remaining cautiously optimisitc for the rest of december then we can judge where we really are.

I really do wonder what some of you people watch, Meyers is possibly the worst passer of a puck I've seen in a long while, he is also not strong enough and a poor leader. The idiots who think Ndur is poor, just watch him, few mistakes, right place nearly all the time. If we are carrying injuries, might explain poor games from Bergin, Toneys. Some on here need to change the record, or take off the blinkers.
