Saying that Calderwood has a good mangerial history, this is Calderwood 6th season as a manager (Northampton & Nott'm Forest) In three seasons with Northampton two apperences in the playoffs and one promotion, wih Nott'm Forest one playoff apperence and one promotion. He has also probably had the biggest budgets at each of the two clubs he has managed, and taken twice as long to do as what more competent managers may be able to do. I think he is a bottom two division manager at best, and strip away any funding that a club may offer him and he will struggle big time.

In both seasons for Northampton he spent the most in the league and his team were heavy favourites for promotion. He under-achieved constantly and only got up via the play-offs eventually. It says a lot that Northampton fans were delighted to see him leave. With Forest, exactly the same. He inherited an ok squad, one that had the best form in the league from January onwards in the previous season. He also had 5x more money to spend than anyone else in the league and much, much bigger home support and finer facilities. He under-achieved in his first year and got us promoted by the skin of our teeth due to Carlisle and Doncaster buckling dramatically. We also would have not gone up had Leeds not had 15 points deducted. The man is a poor manager. The only asset to his game is his transfer dealings. He has the tactical nous of a fridge and blindly ignores the most obvious gaps in his squad. We went up despite Calderwood, not because of him. The sooner we're rid, the better.

Unless Calderwood goes this week, we're going down.

Unless Calderwood goes this week, we're going down. He'll still be boss in 7 days time. And Forest are going down. Think how small the crowds will be on Champ League Tuesdays next season.

Won't be sacked till at least after Derby. I would not be surprised if he's still here in a month's time.
ND doesn't want to fire him. He'll be gone when it's too late.

Dowies just been sacked by QPR, I think he'll be the next gaffer of Nottingham Forest Football Club.

Big Sam may be snapped up by Pompey now that Harry's dumped them. There's no sign that CC will be sacked any day soon.
I hope you lose a frickin' fortune in L1 Doughty. How the Hell you did so well in business when you don't have the testicles to fire someone is beyond me.
RIP Forest. You are an irrelevance.

I'm amazed that he appears so inactive regarding Calderwood's future: weren't we losing £4m a year in League One ? It's simple business sense to prevent that from happening. I'm honestly gob smacked.

According to Sky Sports News, Calderwood is wanted by Redknap at Spurs ! ! ! ! ! ! !
A little boy gets £10 for his birthday and rushes down to the sports shop to buy the new football he has been desperate for. He gives the ball to the shopkeeper, who says, "Sorry, son, this ball is £20. You only have £10". The boy says, "OK, if you blindfold me and I can guess the name of the club on any ball, will you give it to me for £10?" He agrees and gives the boy an Arsenal ball. "I can hear cannons blasting, so it's an Arsenal ball." Next he gives him a Millwall ball: "I hear lions, so it's Millwall." Amazed, the shopkeeper says, "Get this and you can have it for nothing." The boy listens and says Forest. The man asks how he knew, and the boy replies - "It's going down."
