that looks like a bruising opening weekend for you guys. Thats what i was thinking, Payette wanting to make his mark straight away, and then the goon squad the day after..... should make for a interesting opening weekend

December 200826th Away Sheffield 27th Home Sheffield 30th Home Cardiff January 2009 3rd Home Coventry Nice christmas fixtures too! Also worked out we have 17 saturday matches out of a possible 28 and every home Sheffield or Coventry league match is on a saturday night which is decent.

17 Saturday; 6 Sunday (@ 4.00 pm); 2 Tuesday; 2 Wednesday and 1 Thursday - not too bad at all! However, it will be interesting to see how the list stacks up at the end of the season, after concerts have eaten into the Saturday nights!

The edinburgh away double header looks appettising. Slight imbalance, with 5 away games in a row from end of September; then make up for it with 5 home games in 6 in end of oct/Nov. Last 4 out of 5 games are away as well!
Feb looks tough with 10 fixtures including Belfast, then away to sheffeld the following day. Also their could be a cup game or two to fit in during Feb!

After the opening weekend we'll be lucky to escape with any uninjured players left!

I've added days into Sambo's post. The Manchester weekend is very tempting indeed.

Thanks Kim
I'm thinking of doing a sweepstake on how long before there's a fixture change. I'm going with September 23rd.

For those of you wanting to plan holidays, we have no home games on the following weekends: October 4/5 Sweeeeeeeeeet! (Although I already knew - Disney On Ice @ The Fabulous NIC) Means I wont have to miss any games whilst in Stockholm, watching the Ottawa Senators. From a personal point of view, it was good for me we are away on Nov 22nd (I am away in Cardiff watching Wales v All Blacks) The only game that i currently look like missing is the home game v Belfast, on Dec 14th. I will be in London watching Coldplay.

We've got some decent weekends coming up! The first weekend looks like a bruising affair but I'm confident we can get maximum points

Im gutted about the Steelers game being on 20th September! On holiday from 17th September til 2nd October and I just knew the Steelers game would get scheduled for while I'm away!!
I have a season ticket for the 1st time this year so I guess I'll let my relatives fight it out for tickets while I'm away!

Fall nicely for us, were away from the 1st October to 16th in Calgary & Vancouver and we miss no home games, makes a change we usually end up missing a shed load of games whenever we go on holiday.
