Is seventeen saturday games the least since we moved into the arena? With eleven midweek games it won't be many seasons until a week day is hockey night

We got 8 midweek
Not bad fixture list for a change
We talk about how tough the opening weekend is physically, but it has to be 4 points if we are serious about the league

Only concern for me is if the League Title is tight and we're still among the runners at the end of the season.
With only three of our last ten games being at home it would be tough to miss out on the key decisive action just because the majority of our final games are on the road and road games are harder to get to.

I hate mid-week games, too much of a rush, sometimes have to leave early for family reasons, so if money is tight looks like i will be giving a few of them a miss Am i right in thinking that the home game on Dec 27th v steelers is a 12noon face off? if so that means me talking nicely to my boss to finish work early cos i`m back at work straight after xmas, the joys (not) of working in a shop. Off now to had the fixtures to my calender and diary, ( better buy some tippex tomorrow though )

The ideal result would be all Saturday fixtures... but this isn't an ideal world. 5 weekday home fixtures? I'll take that in a heartbeat!
Obviously the big concern is how many fixtures are going to be changed by the NIC reallocating dates. Hopefully not many... but who knows?
And an Edinburgh away double-header... now that's good news! ;D
BTW - anyone else notice that all 3 of our home games against Hull are on a Sunday? Wonder why that is - coincidence or some arrangement? With the new 4pm face-off time on Sundays, hopefully that might encourage a few more Hull fans to travel down... seeing as the trip between Hull and Nottingham is less than 2 hours (and a nice easy drive).

I don't think I'll be able to make every mid-week game, it means going straight from work and I really need to save some pennies. I expect to be at almost every Saturday/Sunday home game though

We will definitely be going to the Edinburgh Double. Wouldn't miss it. Love Edinburgh as a city, not so sure about the rink it's sooo cold there., (Reminder to myself to buy some wool underwear)

Thanks i`ve seen that, i was told that the face off would be early due to the fact that Forest are playing at home that day. Looks like i`ll have to email the panthers office.
