Any chance you can put some stats up of when he was at Newcastle? In the league is was 3.00 GAA with SV .902 Anyone remember Petter Sandstrom? He's still playing and looks like he's doing pretty well for himself, playing in the second tier Swedish league for the last three seasons I've often thought he'd be a good bet for a starting position in our league. My girlfriends would like him back too As for relying solely on stats for goalies, bad move as it doesn't give the whole picture in my opinion.

I take it then Parley is one of the two Corey is choosing between for the nettie. I wonder who the other one is? Any ideas?
Parley seems pretty decent from what I have heard, though would be interesting to know the alternative first.

Interestingly with Coventry also sniffing him out, and then signing Perras, I wonder if he bombed Blaze out in preferance to ourselves with Corey having said both the netties who he is talking to ''want to play for Panthers''. There you are with your positive outlook again ! Surely the more logical series of events considering the Blaze announced Perras about 3 weeks ago and probably signed him at least a few weeks before that, is that the Blaze were looking at Davis but decided to sign Perras instead ? Why would he reject the Blaze if he only had a 50% chance of getting the job in Nottingham ? We aren't THAT special for him to take the risk of not getting any job in England are we ?!?! I'd assume he is so keen to sign for us because the other club who were interested in him in the UK (Coventry) signed someone else. Doesn't that make more sense if you take off your rose tinted specs ?? Anyway I think he is going to be a top netminder for us. The league stats speak foer themselves.

Imo Parley will be our new Nettie, Corey saying he's speaking to two guys is just a smoke screen if you ask me. Agree on Sandstrom he would be awesome in this league, he was decent in the ISL and only young too.

Maybe he was hedging his bets that Panthers would take him. Are you saying that Blaz e would reject him in favour of Ferras? HL

I've no idea what happened.
I'm just saying that in my opinion, the time-line makes it look more likely that my theory happened over yours. If Neilson still has 2 to choose from, I find it unlikely Davis would have turned down other offers.
To be honest, I just thought it was nice that you immeadiately thought was that he would turn down the Blaze in favour of us simply because we are so fantastic !
