I've just approved a post on The Cat's Whiskers website stating that we've signed a netminder who 'was a 4th round NHL draft pick in 2000 and has bags of ECHL experience' As with all rumours though, could be complete BS.

Perhaps I'm slightly losing it but I'm sure I read a week or so ago that either us or another UK were signing a 4th round draft netminder with a funny name ? Anyone recall this ?

Liv would be incredible but Detroit still court him, Szuper would be my favourite with DEL and AHL experience as well as succeeding in a league Askey didn't.

Liv is a non starter every time
The wings are getting him ready to step up as a starter for them to pair with Howard.
Nice try though

I've heard that the netminder is signed so should only be a matter of time before we know who it is.

Surely if they're signed then release it. I don't trust rumours about someone we have signed but we haven't told anyone yet.

It was rumoured by some (mostly Blaze fans) that Coventry were going to sign Chris Beckford-Tseu (is that the funny name you were thinking of?)

They're spreading the signings out, Nettie will be the next one, he has been signed since last week. DP is the one.

Well this is interesting as I was having a chat with a fellow hockey fan (not a Nottingham fan) and although he didnt have a name he was aware he had the greatest number of shut outs in the ECHL this season. The NM is....Davis Parley HL

Quite young! 9 losses in 35 is pretty good.
Would be very happy with him.

The NM is....Davis Parley HL this goalie reminds me a bit of the ryan macdonald move to vipers last year, still fairly young (ok so slightly older), up there at the top of the ECHL stats tables and maybe would get an AHL call up in the near future is he would stay in america and keep producing the numbers he has. I would be VERY impressed to sign him as although stats dont tell you everything (and a decent defence might have helped him!!) he is no doubt on paper a quality netminder and if this rumour turns out to be true i will be one happy panther!
