Well this is interesting as I was having a chat with a fellow hockey fan (not a Nottingham fan) and although he didnt have a name he was aware he had the greatest number of shut outs in the ECHL this season. The NM is....Davis Parley HL this goalie reminds me a bit of the ryan macdonald move to vipers last year, still fairly young (ok so slightly older), up there at the top of the ECHL stats tables and maybe would get an AHL call up in the near future is he would stay in america and keep producing the numbers he has. I would be VERY impressed to sign him as although stats dont tell you everything (and a decent defence might have helped him!!) he is no doubt on paper a quality netminder and if this rumour turns out to be true i will be one happy panther! For your sake I hope he has a better glove hand than ryan Mac! His stats look very impressive, and would be a good addition both to Panthers and EIHL

2007-08 Regular Season South Carolina Stingrays 35 80 2090 973 24 9
Just over 2 goals per game average is pretty awesome.

Should be a good one for us and what I like is that CN seems to be getting hungry younger players looking to make an impression rather than has-beens on the downward end on their career.
These guys will want to do well to make their next step in the game.

In today's BBC interview about Richards and Richardson Corey also mentions that he's currently talking to two NM's 'who both want to come, so it's just a question of choosing between them now. And that's all i want to say about that now' news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/ice_hockey/7429748.stmIt's about 3.15 into the interview.

Parley? Don't doubt that he'll be VERY WELCOME to Panthers!
Please God, make it so!

I've just had a text from a source who has been correct each time they have contacted me on a signing that the new nettie is Davis Parley.
Make of this what you will

hes got good stats so why not get excited. imo the netminders one of the most important players. not gonna win much if we draft in any old rif raf.
thats what being a fan is all about. getting excited about new players and wondering when there going to be announced. nothing wrong in that.
