Big disappointment, but he appears to have stagnated in his career some what. Long time ago since he was that promising striker who only ever got a game for Real when Mijatovic or Suker were crocked.

Shin, his point is that with the money they've spent, like Forest they should have gone up, it's not like what Simpson has done with Carlisle. There's a lot of interesting candidates out there. I believe there are others who have a stronger CV. I'd be looking at Doncaster, Southend, Colchester, Brentford and Preston before Northampton. Anyway, back on topic....... I'd expect Cisse to also leave after the WC. Marseille seem most likely.

I wouldn't be disappointed at all if we decided to go for Penney, he'd be a good middle-of-the-range manager. We'll never get Parkinson now he's taken Colchester up. We'll also not get our hands on anyone from the higher leagues, so that rules out Preston and Southend too.

Sky sports news are touting the following:-
Andy Johnson - C.Palace to Everton £8.5m fee agreed subject to personal terms.
Iain Dowie will also leave Palace for the vacant Charlton hotseat.
Tottenham are letting Mido return to Roma after his loan deal expired.
Re: The latter I feel Spurs are missing an opportunity as I feel Mido gave them an alternative dimension.

Berbatov is going to give them that dimension Andy, the man is fantastic. He better be for €15m! Mido was a heck of a lot cheaper and proved himself in the EPL. What's the betting Charlton move for Andy Johnson?! Leaving Chelsea?: Pidgeley Johnson Huth Gallas Del Horno SWP Geremi Gudjonsen Bridge Crespo Drogba. Bench: Jarosik, Carlton Cole and Maniche!

Well Andy Johnson to Everton, he said he wanted to join one of the biggest clubs in Britain? Everton are not a big club!

Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs in a battle for Didier Zakora for £10m. Excellent anchor midfielder who should do well for Ivory Coast in the FWC 2006.
Cameroon's Jean Makoun is another possible for Man U.

Billy Davies is the new Derby boss.
A better signing for Derby then it is for Billy.

Not a bad deal for Man U. £12m for a player who never wore their shirt!
Still a (potentially) great deal for Chelsea. Even with Crespo leaving they now have excellent strikers to go with goal-scoring midfielders and quality wingers.

Roy Keane to Sunderland. (Can't see it) Peter Taylor to Palace. Carrick to Man U for £14m. Zakora to Spurs as his replacement (great deal for Spurs). The brilliant Frank Ribery to Man U.

Spurs and Carrick will be getting a good deal. I'm not sure Man U will be. Not for that price. Diarra or Zakora would be better buys. I'm not sure Carrick is big enough to cope with playing for Man U. He may struggle. Especially at that price.

Yes. As someone who likes Liverpool I hope they don't. He's a good player but he's poison. Liverpool could do so much better. Bent and Defoe for instance. Pompey have £20m+ to blow and will be buying everybody!

I've seen all the talk about this but i can't see it happening.. He respects Hughes too much he's the one that saved his career and took a chance on him when nobody else would! If it does happen it will ruin us..

If it does happen it will ruin us.. He was always going to use Blackburn as a stepping stone to get a move to a big club. If Liverpool are daft enough to bid then Bellamy won't turn them down. Assuming they pay him enough!!

A fee has now been agreed between liverpool and blackburn. If liverpool can control him it will be a decent signing.
