It's back. Let the hostilaties, rivalry, p**s taking, gloating, crying, pride, embarrasment, shame, & glory begin. Winning starts for the Yankees in Oakland, spanking the home side 15 - 2. ;D Boston Red Sucks, 'sneak' a 7 - 3 win @ Texas Rangers. The Blue Jays, still to play.

I'm quite hopeful for the Jays. Pity we're in such a tough division.
Yankees have promised they'll win it this year.

Phillies swept in opening mini-series by the Cadinals. No great shame in that as I personally feel the Cards are a live contender for the World series this time around. LA Angels up next at Citizens Bank Ballpark.

The Angels? Don't think so Andy, must be the Dodgers, no interleague this early in the season. Oh dear the Yanks get one blowout victory start strutting around and hit the early season skids, what a shame! The Red Sox on the other hand just keep on rolling... ;D

The Red Sox win a straight 5...can they make it 6 today against Toronto?. Yankees get back into the winning groove, with a win over Kansas, after a fine performance by my main man Derek Jeter. The 2nd Yankees home game, of the season, against Kansas is just about to start on NASN...... LET'S GO YANKEES!! ;D

Another fine win for the YANKEES over Kansas, yesterday (Thursday) - with Jonny Damon, hitting a stunner onto the 2nd tier @ Yankee Stadium, & scoring a fine home run. Interesting to see him in a interview say he wanted to re-sign for the Red Sox, but they NEVER came to him with an offer. Hmmm Talking of Boston, they got sunk by the Blue Jays last night... I think 8 - 6 (Not sure without checking.) Waaaaaaaaaaaaay t'go Toronto! ;D

Hmmm Don't believe everything the players say Tone buddy without hearing out the other side. The Sox did give him an offer, $40m over 4 years and as has been the case throughout the John Henry ownership era he laid his cards down and wouldn't break the bank to keep a player at a cost over and above what the club thought he was worth. The Yankees paid him $52m over 4 years, the money made it a no brainer for Damon but if he really wanted to re-sign he didn't try that hard to get Henry/Lucchino/Epstein to up the offer...he swanned off to the Yankees. If ifs and buts were beer and nuts Johnny would be having a hell of a party in centre at Fenway...as it is that's Coco and Sternie's job now.

"The ball is back...way back...IT'S GONE! INTO THE MONSTER SEATS!" Brilliant end to a brilliant game today, Mark Loretta with a walk off two run homer in the bottom of the ninth with two outs off the Mariners closer. One of the best game's I've listened to in a long time start to finish, the Sox didn't lead once until that blast from Loretta and came from behind FIVE times, two more homers from David Ortiz. 9-4. I'll take that. It's much better than the Yankees current record!

The Monster Seats?. I may not like your team, but sitting on 'The Green Monster' earlier this month was a great thing. You can't but tickets to sit up there directly, you have to enter a ballot (Via the Red Sox website) & IF you win, you get to buy 4 tickets to a game of your choice. I would LOVE to sit up on that beautiful thing for a Sox V Yankees game.

What are the Monster Seats? They are the seats on top of the famous Green Moster in left field at Fenway Park as you can see on this picture.

The best seats in any ballpark are directly behind home plate if you ask me, this was my view when I was at Fenway... The Monster seats are class though.

Looks like you were in the rickety old seats then Andy. You actually get a swinging 'bar stool' type seat on the GM...& a place/plinth/table to rest ya munchies & beer!. The seats would set you back about $76.00. However, the cheapest view in Fenway park, is also on top of the Monster. The very back row, is actually standing room, & sets you back a teensy $15.00.

Yeah, I was in the old wooden seats Tone, but they provide for a really great view and weren't actually as uncomfortable as you might expect, my ticket that day was $40. Those seats on the Monster are amazing though with the plinth and bar stools. You aren't quite right on the pricing though. A seat on the Monster will cost you from $90-$130 and the standing tickets are $25 or $30 depending on the game. The cheapest tickets in the park are $12, at the top of the bleachers underneath the scoreboard that you can see on the pic I took at the game, the view from there's garbage though.

Only going on the info our tour guide gave us dude! Also, we had to get out 'tour tix' from the main box office @ Fenway. They have above the box office, a HUGE fixture list, with ticket availability next to all the games. 90% of all the games are completely sold out already. Games that do have tickets available, only have 'selected single seats' available. Incredible really....considering the team!
