Do you mean, Dave MacIsaac DOB 23.04.72 I thought the person flying in is about 26 years old and he has just finished his exams, who knows? I will bow down to your source!

Are we sure were getting a defenceman?

yerh, ellis said either in the NEP or on our site that he realised the problem was at the back and not up front

I reckon with Askey Sureing us up at the back. Ellis might change his mind and go for a 'game breaker', the sort of player who would have got us the winner against Sheffield? Just a thought? Maybe this isn't the last change we'll see this season.

it may be the only one, as unless im wrong the ITC deadline is sometime in january and i think the team had gelled nicely now, so no need to cut anyone.

to be honest I'd still like to see Stancok go, ok he's steadied himself but he still gives far too many penalties for my liking

With the money saved since Drouin left and the time subsequently spent tracking a new man down, I'd have thought we'd be in a position to bring in someone who is at least on a par with the very best players in the league

Where's that EIHL rulebook when you need it...

Pretty sure more than Half of PCs wage went into the cap. Theory is there should be a lot of money left but who knows

Well i've heard that since drouin went, ellis employed neilson as assistant coach, so if that's there should of been a bit more to spend because i could imagine neilson being on quite a bit of money.

Posted 3/1/2008: Dave MacIsaac (D) From Asiago Hockey AS to St. Georges Express (LNAH) Status: Confirmed Well, if MacIsaac genuinely made the choice of returning to the 8-team Quebec Bush League, where the average Penalty Minutes are currently running at 90+ per game, instead of joining the Panthers, it doesn't say a great deal for the EIHL's reputation, does it?

I heard that Neil Martin is part of coaching staff at the Blaze and he wears an A doesn't he although i'm not 100% on this, just cus his an assisant coach why can't wear an A? That would be the dumbest rule ever made then again this is the Elite League

I'm not sure that the salary is apportioned for the assistants, otherwise you could have everybody responsible for an aspect of coaching and get round the wage cap quite easily
