Great 3-1 win to defeat dallas with 4 mins left on the clock.
On the first goal, possibly the pass of the season by Zetterberg to set up Datsysuk, wow check out NHL video ;D

Fabulous save indeed and a game winning save too boot. Click on this link and you can see the save slowed down. It looks even better. 5 game winning streak, keep on truckin' Leafs. Jordan Staal ;D Oh, cheering for Pittsburgh now that Colorado are bottom of their division?

Canucks won wednes night gainst the wild. some big checks, salo scoring the gwg with 40 secs left. Back on top of the division.!!

Leafs beat the Flyers - not surprising when Forsberg was pulled from the warm up to be told he'd been traded!

Clearly the trade messed us up, nobody cares though

Leafs beat the Flyers - not surprising when Forsberg was pulled from the warm up to be told he'd been traded! Not surprising given how awful the Flyers are this season you mean. Losing to Philadelphia last night would have been inexcusable. Easy win by all accounts.

Have some respect Shin, we've been much improved lately. Losing your star centre during the warm-up would mess the concentration of any team up.

Have some respect Shin, we've been much improved lately. Losing your star centre during the warm-up would mess the concentration of any team up. You won two games on the bounce, and your team's longest winning streak is three games. I don't think I said anything disrespectful, go and read the various articles available on the net & not just from online newspapers such as the Toronto Sun. Philadelphia were 3-0 after 14 minutes and didn't make a game of it until the 3rd period. I say again, nothing disrespectful was said, the only thing smarting is you yourself. I had to endure a miserable season last year with the Leafs, it hurts of course it does, but it isn't my fault your team is woeful.

Three home games on the bounce, and you'd lost three on the bounce.
Anyway, i'm not arguing with you as you would seem to want. Good day sir.

Three home games on the bounce, and you'd lost three on the bounce. True three losses having been on a highly successful road trip in which we won four and lost one & managed to have a five game winning streak. I never expected to beat Nashville and while the losses to Pittsburgh & the Islanders were disappointing, especially the Pens loss, at least we picked up a point in both games which is good going for a team trying to jostle for play off positioning. Anyway, i'm not arguing with you as you would seem to want. Good day sir. You were the one who made accusations that I was being disrespectful & I said I wasn't. I don't think I am by saying the 2006-07 Flyers are woeful. You've won 15 games which considering you had a team with the likes of Forsberg, Umberger & Carter on is poor. If I were posting comments such as trolling comments, I'd expect you to take offence, but you're the one who's smarting because you know I'm right. Like I said, I know how it feels & that's why I don't feel the need to take the wee wee as certain people did about the Leafs last season. *edit: I'd also like to add Richards & of course some guy Simon Gangne to the mix, the latter's not a bad player afterall.*

Handbags aside. Canucks win gainst chicago after the shootout - VC 2 - CB 0 (after 2)
the win all down to luongo again. made a save that the commentators described as robbery. lying on the floor to the side gaping goal arkhipov thought his onto a winner but no it got plucked out the air! plus two more excellent saves in regulation and two in the shootout gave us the game.
we are now 2 pts clear at the top, in our division thats a big lead.

Another win tonight to keep up the decent run, 5-3 at MSG. Not bad for a woeful side.
Now we've got Richards and Gauthier back, not to mention Carter at full strength we're not that bad a side anymore. We're still no world-beaters but we played a great game against the Rangers tonight.

You can't blame your dreadful season on injuries & beating the NYR doesn't change much, it's a good result not only for your own club, but also the teams scrapping for post season quailification. I find it funny Daniel that yesterday you flung accusations my way of 1) being disrespectful & 2) trying to goad you into an arguement. Neither remark was true, but then you come out with a sarcastic " Not bad for a woeful side" quip which does nothing to suggest it's you that's looking for a quarrel. I'm afraid you aren't going to get one from me lad.

I'll admit, that was such a blatant fishing trip there. You bite so very easily sometimes. Have a horlicks.
I was on about the quality of our youth the other day, when you look at it properly it's frightening. We've got 8 players under 25 playing in the NHL right now:
Carter Richards Umberger Picard Eager Pitkanen Potulny Upshall
and we've still got the likes of Downie, Parent, Giroux, Nodl and Ruzicka to come. We'll probably draft Esposito or Cherepanov too. I'd put our young talent at second in the division, obviously behind the Pens. What's better is that to get this wealth of talent, all we've had to do is miss one play-off season.

I've said all along that your team has lots of talent but it's obvious that the season has just blown up in Flyerville for whatever reason. I think the trade of Forsberg is a fantastic one for Philadelphia and I'm in full agreement with you regarding the future of your roster ie Carter et al.

My point is that we're not that bad a side when fully fit. We've missed Richards and Gauthier for ages and Carters not been fully fit for most of the season either. Now we've got them back and have the Fridge doing the rounds, we're a reasonably capable side. Not great, but not a side that it's embarrassing to lose to.

Leafs beat the Oilers 4-3 last night, with Pohl & Sundin both getting a brace. Great game with a nice ceremony before hand to celebrate the 1967 Leafs.

Did anyone watch the Isles - Penguins game on Monday? A very enjoyable game which had just about everything you could want in a hockey game.

Lost a close-run thing to the Bruins 6-3 last night, quite an entertaining game but we just didnt have enough to beat them.

You should have won, out shot the bruins 33-18 and scored half as many goals. Was your net-minder looking the wrong way 17 shots 5 goals . That was nearly as bad as Theo for Colorado on Sunday when the canucks beat them ;D 5-4 and he faced 20 shots! Tough games for both tonight. Canucks facing Ducks at theirs and flyers at buffalo - reckon you'll fair any better newham, me dont?

looks like the leafs fell due to the netminders of both teams. Thomas 0-44 either great netminding or soft shooting. Raycroft 3-13 not xactly inspiring! but im sure if im wrong someone will let me know.

Raycroft 3-13 not xactly inspiring! but im sure if im wrong someone will let me know. According to the reports Thomas wasn't required to do any thing spectacular. Having watched the highlights, a post saved him on a 5 on 3 early on in the 1st, and the Leafs missed a gaping net at 1-0 down. Raycroft has been outstanding recently - he made a double save in the last few seconds of the game against the Oilers on Saturday night - and has started 21 consecutive games. He'd be disappointed with the 3 goals that went in, but that's Hockey!
