We are getting so much better now. Stevens seems to be having a bit of an effect.
Despite losing last night we are at least giving the teams a game even if we don't win. We're 2-0 up at the Isles now. Some good work.

Time to bring some Canucks to this thread.
Shame my first post re canucks comes after a narrow defeat to the ducks, but at least it was closer than the 6-0 bashing last time. Bad discipline caused the defeat last night for us, taking penalties at the wrong time.
As im relatively new to the canucks scene any info or comments about the team you have let me know! and keep it nice or else!

Grrr...Lost in a shootout to the Devils. Fedoruk scored in Philly return game, his first shift actually but we let in a crappy SH equaliser in the last couple of minutes. How poo.

Shoot outs are lame, I hate them and it's nothing to do with the Leafs losing last night in that manner. What is wrong with a tied game? Oh yeah it's because big fat Joe America has a short attention span

The Avalanche won their third straight for the first time this season tonight against the Oilers, good news.
DARN MY TIMING! I drive out to Colorado tomorrow for a ski holiday just as the Avs head for 3 games on the road, they come home the night I leave and I'll be driving past Denver just before game time so won't get to Pepsi Centre. I'm intensely frustrated!!!

Flipping eck, another pasting for the Rangers, they have conceded 14 goals in two games and scored 3

Well Canucks lost last night to the Wild at there's. no real surprise though with the wilds home record. They now go one point above us in the tightest division ever!
Plus points for us, we've now extended our penalty kill to 20 opps without conceding whilst keeping our recent powerplay at an average of 1 in 3.
Next game against the Bruins at there's, cant see us coming out with much from that one.

Anyone catch the Edmonton Colorado game that was on ch5 last night? Didn’t watch right to the end but a great game, end to end lots of goals and 1 fight between Laperriere & Winchester, where Laperriere got hammered! Roloson in the Edmonton net was not good let in a couple of very soft goals. Whilst at the other end Budja turned the game around keeping the Oilers out in the second period with some fine stops – allowed Colorado to score against the run of play.
Plus great hat trick by Brunette, 2 on the PP as a result of good position and just being patient. Excellent game worth staying awake for.

I'm suprised no one's mentioned Florida's visit to Toronto the other night. So? Toronto tank the Rangers & then two former Leafs play really well and lead their team to a well earned win against the blue & white. You can wink all you like, but I don't really see what you're getting at, unless you're trolling?

Dear lord Shin, lighten up. You can't get grumpy every time someone digs the Leafs. If we all did that there'd be some damn miserable Flyers fans right about now!

I wasn't getting grumpy, you can think what you like, it doesn't really concern me. Rubbish showing from the Leafs and they paid the penalty, just as the Rangers did on saturday. As for Philadelphia, I don't have to make fun of them, as your players are doing that in a much better capacity than I ever could. So much talent on that roster, and yet you really are a poor team this year. Shocking. *edited for typos*

Back to the results - Vancouver with another tight win over the flames in overtime 6-5!
Main point though, the NW league is ridiculously close, i mean as it stands now (and OK not everyone's played the same number of games) Vancouver top 39pts ;D but then Edmonton, Calgary, Colorado & Minnesota all on 38pts. Thats tighter than a........<add your own punch line>
