Fife, with the smallest set of forwards in the league this season (and only playing 3 lines) currently 3-0 up at end of the 2nd period against one of the tallest teams in the league And slated to be the most physical-Dundee. This after losing 3-2 to Dundee last night after overtime.

Panthers have 3 players (including Zaine who is the 2 way player) over 6ft, and one at 6ft exactly Of those Fife forwards you list, 1 is british & he is on a 2 way (5'11). Fife have though been playing their only full time brit & d man (Fynn Page - 6'2) up front so far this pre season. Fife also have 2 'spare' import forwards included in the heights you list. As such heights of forwards who ice on any given game night could drastically change as not all will play each game. Add to that, Fife as it stands will only be able to ice 3 forward lines unless they have their 2 two way forwards available, & one of those Is a d man. All other teams will be able (or near able) to ice 4 lines.

Season underway then, Giants look to be cruising to a win over Dundee in the cup, 3-1.
I see the new Game Centre stats update still hasn't added what the game clock says. There's always next year.

Some interesting scores with 20 to play, Sheffield and Cardiff both trailing at home.

His last 2 home arenas. Some downgrade for him. Sochi with a short stop in Davos sees him go from one of the most beautiful arenas in world hockey to the storm shelter. 🤣

On the face of it it looks a very good signing. No question I'd be thrilled if we signed him, but its a sharp fall from grace for somebody who is only 30 and a CV like that. Wouldn't be suprised to see him end up somewhere like Belfast by the end of the season.

He’s too big Did he hear about that big city Manchester but not told about anything else? Seriously though, well done to them, will aid their cause I bet. But 'Joe will be relied upon on both sides of the puck, and I’m thrilled to bring him onboard." means two sides of the puck, yea? Yea? Now is that Manchester now down to 3 possible non-homegrown left to sign? and...Dundee, with that upset of a seasonal injury to one of their own players , bringing them down to 4?

Looks a good game in Coventry tonight, 4 each with Fife, in the third.

Cardiff look to be bringing in another player, which may partly be a result of Mosey being injured. In the summer when there were whispers about Mosey joining us I didn’t like the sound of it due to his injury record.

3 games in for Flames, and they are yet to score a goal in periods 2 or 3.

It’s a case of business owners, across all industries, being out of touch. People don’t have a lot of disposable income and customers want good value for their money, otherwise they will make do without it. We’re seeing that with our challenge cup games. The arena aren’t helping our case either with their added fees but with the way the arena is run it’s not surprising that they’re having to cover costs by adding the fees

Agree with this. As a rule, if you don’t pay for something you don’t tend to value it. That said, I got back into this off the back of very cheap tickets. There is middle ground though - occasional discounted tickets for poorly attended fixtures fills the place, potentially attracts new fans and shouldn’t offend the season ticket holders / regulars.
