All decent appointments apart from the fact Dan Green is lurking in the background!

All decent appointments apart from the fact Dan Green is lurking in the background! If that’s all he does that’s fine by me. Delighted for Chris and Jono. The club is listening and making changes. It’s so good

Congratulations to Chris Elly Ellis, Sophie Rouse and our very own Jono Bullard on their new roles! Looking forward to seeing the improvements you make!

To be fair, I think it makes sense having a former player (yes i'm aware he was a backup before someone feels the need to point it out) alongside Jono, especially from a netminding perspective. I think that'll work well alongside Jono's knowledge of the sport as his time as a fan. Dan is also not a typical monotone voice like most players so certainly willing to give him a listen in a new setup this season.
Chris Ellis being involved is fantastic news and the work Sophie did with the social media for Sheffield and also GB has been fantastic. All of the pieces in the off season have been put in place, bring on the new season!

Cage Forum rules state that no-one is ever allowed to say anything nice about Dan Green, whatever the situation. FWIW, I agree, it's fine by me.

My only issue with Dan Green as colour commentator is that he’s far too biased towards Panthers, his job is to provide insight to fans but when he’s struggling to criticise any of Panthers’ performances from last season it just becomes difficult to listen to

Every credit for getting Visionmix on board, I’m expecting a big improvement and I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.

I am completely staggered by the Panthers this off season. It’s the complete polar opposite to what went before. It does shows how much it matters having the right man at the top. A puck hasn’t even dropped yet and I’m beginning to believe that Pacha will be the best thing that has happened to Panthers in living memory

Wonder if the jumbotron/scoreboard will be better used?

And hey presto.. pidge ain't often wide of the mark

Yup impartial and hard to believe he's a Steelers legend.. cracking bloke to talk to as well

No doubt it'll be worlds appart from what it was. Great appointments. Upgrades in every area for Panthers. I think Chris Ellis could just be the signing of the season. Since Pachas appointment of course.

Once he was saying that a head shot was hardly worth a minor. Result was Steelers player thrown out. 😳 Don’t doubt he’s a good bloke though.

Wonder if the jumbotron/scoreboard will be better used? Vision mix will smash that out too. Since it was installed Panthers have just used it as a glorified advertisement board, so looking forward to it being used to it’s full potential and it already looks like players will have their own goal celebration videos

Was it because they didn't know how to use it or they couldn't be arsed to want to learn how

Was it because they didn't know how to use it or they couldn't be arsed to want to learn how Pretty obvious I would have thought, because it they didn’t know how to use it then it wouldn’t have been difficult to find somebody who did. Like virtually everything in the old era, they couldn’t be bothered, wouldn’t pay for the right skills and always just did the bare minimum to get by. The new era however seems to have no problem in going the extra mile and beyond.
