If I had the Photoshop skills The Flying Shirt I'd definitely tweak that to read: "Panthers of the Caribbean - The Curse of Neil Black" with the appropriate face changes of cast members. Oh go on. I bet Yotes could do it. 🤣🤣

Infrastructure, organization, too many owners that know more about ice hockey than they know about business, not enough sustainable rinks and the bottom line is not enough paying customers interested. The EIHL started about 19 years ago? And still not enough bums on seats. League attendances so far this year are here www.eliteleague.co.uk/stats/teams?id_season=34&id_stage=1&order=18&order_direction=2I would say most of the teams here are averaging fairly decent numbers compared to their rink capacities, the exceptions being Steelers and Panthers. Panthers look down on average (4457), Steelers are looking slightly above Smithy's target of 6,000. If you take the season 2019/2020 Panthers played 60 League games and got an average attendance of 5764. So 60 x 5764 = 345840 attended league games Average ticket price taking into account kids, concessions, freebies = 11 quid (guess) 11 x 345840 = Just over 3.8 Million That's not including CC games, Playoff Games, Merchandise, 50/50's, Shirt off your Back tickets. I reckon income has to be over 4.25 Million

But even so they’re about 1200 fans a game down now this season,at about £13 av per ticket so if that continues they’ll be well over £500k down on ticket sales for the season. Excellent, that’ll make Black cough on his Bermudan cocktails. 🤣🤣

I knew I should have double checked it, anyway at least if you halve the figures its better than the guesswork thats been going on. Black also has Glasgow as well so he's on a nice little earner.

The screen quite frankly is nice but doesnt add too much to the experience.

I’ve used £13 as what I would consider a low average as you’ve got gold seats at £20 odd, kids at £9 ish and various in between prices. I’ve never done it but I guess if you got each ticket price band and assumed there was one of each type purchased, add up the total cost then divide that by the number of ticket bands that ought to give a more accurate average ticket cost. (That’ll keep Bobness occupied for half an hour or so) Lol😉🤣

Indeed. It would be pure speculation without any reliable data. You're best off with a reasonable average per seat sold. Which we assume is the attendance figure given.

So many variables. Cheapest kids ticket is now £10+£1.25 of fees in Bronze. Gold is a different story as the kids tickets are barely discounted, perhaps means very few kids in Gold. Gold Adult £20+£2.50 fees Gold Kids £20+£1.25 fees
For reference i believe my ST in Silver works out at £15.60 per game.

The new media /PR guy will wish he’d never left Boots when he’s seen how this outfit operate. i’ll give him a year no one lasts much longer than that. Who might this be? Jord hes on Linkedin not sure if your allowed to post photo's of people on here. if admin say its okay I'll post it. A massive Panthers fan apparently and his dream job, wonder if he'll have the same opinion when he's worked from the other side for a few months. Good Luck to him he's got a tough job.

Interesting, according to that we're a thousand down on 19/20. To add, not just us. Belfast have seen a big drop too (worse than ours). Devils down a lot too, considering the size of their arena (700). From the smaller teams, Fife's drop is a bit worrying, lost about a sixth of their attendance. (This all assumes the EIHL figures are correct of course.) Don't forget that Devils have played three games behind closed doors, which will have had a big knock on the average.

I have not seen what the Elite League says but I have been to every home game , except the behind closed ones of course, and the IAW has been more or less full. To say an average of 2900 (max is 3100) would be a sensible guess.

The three teams who’s attendances have dropped the last few years though are Panthers,Coventry and Fife. On the up seem to be Sheffield and Dundee.
