Yet Ollie is named in the GB squad? Bizarre. Always makes me laugh they they say things like Carr is out with an “upper body” injury, when we all know it’s a broken finger? That's just down to their total lack of knowledge. Not sure how Ollie can be considered for the world's when he's done his ACL allegedly

To be Frank, that tells me naff all You’re right it says nowt. They’ll probably wheel a part fit Carr out soon though for the quarter final and half the fans will think Panthers are going to win the playoffs. 🤣🙈 The question is will panthers still be in the tie by the time face off comes round on Sunday ? Premier sports may regret screening this game when there's two other games which will probably be closer

They may even have asked him?

Will it? What's the current record for whatever grade of ligament injury he may, or may not, have?

To be Frank, that tells me naff all Well I read the article different. It tells me the players that are out for the season and the possibility that 1 or up to 4 maybe fit for the weekend. Strange how people read things differently.

Will it? What's the current record for whatever grade of ligament injury he may, or may not, have? Don't start expecting certain posters to justify their posts, back up their arguments or deal with details like the rest of us. It's all about having an OPINION that supercedes facts and others views. Details and backed up discussion are for schmucks right? After all we're still waiting three weeks later for details of the skills that make Cade Neilson both simultaneously too good to ever end up in the EIHL and yet 6hrs later also likely to end up in it by the time he's 26... Just a higher level than the eihl .. he'll probably bounce over to this league down the road at a similar age to Conway I'd imagine but his skill set is better than most who play here IN MY OPINION Question kind of still stands though doesn't it Pidge as to which leagues would you consider to be at a higher level in your (capitalised) opinion, and the ones you thought his skills were better suited for/that he ought to be aiming for? Genuine question. Interested to know. Years since I saw him ice the once so would be interested in your opinion You did say six hours ago that... He ain't coming anywhere near this league. ... But now think he'll likely have to settle for already being in the EIHL whilst still in his prime at 26 like Conway, who is after all only in his third pro year post college and after AHL/ECHL. Do you see his skill set as more top European leagues or more AHL? And which skills and in in what way? Cue tumbleweed...

(If the website bothered to actually say what the injury is !). From what I can see a grade one ligament tear, the most minor form, is quoted as about 4 to 6 weeks. Given he was injured at the end of March, and the Worlds are mid May, that would give him a chance to return in time. I think it's safe to assume that Russell/IHUK will have spoken to player and club and know exactly where he is in terms of his injury. Doesn't mean he'll make it, but they obviously think he has a decent chance to.
