I think I've seen this from you before Bob, but do you know by period when we take our penalties?
'Watching' games on the EIHL game centre, you're always waiting for anything to happen that needs to be recorded, so you get a time update, and in our games, third period especially, nothing (odd goal aside) ever seems to happen. Am I imagining that?

Ta. Looks like it's mostly my imagination then, although the opponent PPs conceded is quite a lot down on the first two periods.

Here's one from the league site. These are the "Shot by origin %" maps from Saturday's game in Belfast. Belfast on the left. You'll note they add to 88% and 85% respectively. That's more than a bit crap, as far as I can tell. Analyses of "things" in terms of a total percentage normally add to one hundred, in my experience. Giants and Panthers seemed to have 1 shot from outside the blue line, and Giants had 1 shot from behind the goal line, but that doesn't cover the shortage? Poor. Attachments:

I can only concur from this that the computer (that does not add up player stats similar) does this and no human is actually looking at it?

They have now, it seems, fixed the glitch that had Tetlow with -1 assist for one game...

Ollie Betteridge on Injured replacement (IR) for maybe the rest of the season. First injury causing missing of a game ever as the club say, maybe he obviously mentioned it.
He played 21 games over 11/12 through to 14/15.
15/16 61 - no injury from here for sure
16/17 73 games
17/18 77
18/19 71
19/20 64
20/21 16
21/22 with this season a total of 439, only 11 games from his 450th.
That's a hell of a lot of games injury free.

With Kevin CARR on IR now, his possible move to be the 7th all-time netty as regards TOI is somewhat put on hold. Presently 8th behind Curtis Cruikshank 6415 minutes then it is Ken Johnston in 6th with 6851
Kevin Carr 6215.35 at the moment with at least 9 games left. 540 mins of play.
And then days later add Kelsall onto IR , 05/04/22

The longest points scoring game streak by a Panther this year in the league is 7. Baillargeon, games 40-46, 4+3.

Since (and including) the Sheffield game on 26th February, the Panthers' PK has (by my stats) been a decidedly unimpressive 42/63, 66.67%. Up to that game it was 121/145, 83.45%. (The league's stats, which sometimes I don't quite see how they are calculated, say 37/55 and 112/139. Neither is great)
The Panthers have scored the least PP goals in the league by some margin. 26 scored, the next up is 34 (Clan, Blaze and Flyers). Panthers also have the least amount of PP chances of any team. 26/146 = 17.81%. Guildford are bottom of that pile with 36/204 = 17.65%. Steelers top with 47/183, 25.68%.
Overall, per the league's stats, Panthers' PK is 7th, at 76.80% in total.

Fourth place confirmed and will play the fifth placed team in the league at season end play-offs.
Congratulations to Kevin Domingue who just squeezed in his 50th game for Nottingham after so much injury this season and what may be his last game in 21-22.
Only possible 'old boy' achievements this end of season can be Matheson's (needs one) 100th point, Myers (needs two) 400th point, Boivin's (needs three) 50th assist and Tousignant's (needs five) 100th penalty minute.

Tetlow fact alert. Wednesday night, he became the first Panther to go +5 in a game since Tommy Hughes on 1 December 2018, in an 8-3 win at the Flames.

I'm thinking that 4th through to 8th in the league could end up being only four points from one placing to another if Coventry beat Dundee plus Glasgow and Guildford come away with wins against the bottom two, who have not made the play-Offs.
Otherwise if Dundee do stay 7th by winning over the light blues, Coventry may feel left behind in the end stuck between the middle bunch and the non qualifier's.
So glad the league comes to an end today.

At quick glance 55pts is our worst ever EIHL tally (except 05/06 54pts but only 42 games that season) and 33pts I believe is our biggest gap to the league winners in our EIHL history! Season 21/22 has been tremendous!!!

With two to four possible games left in the season...Christophe Boivin is one 'assist' away from his 50th, Matt Myers two 'points' from his 400th Tousignant 5 penalty minutes from his 100th.
Final league table complete. One more point from tonight's game and Dundee would have finished 4th (to play us in the Play Offs) rather than 7th.
Play-Offs due next Coventry v Belfast Sheffield v Dundee Cardiff v Glasgow Guildford v Nottingham
Other numbers...from new players
50 game plus Baillargeon, Brassard, Lane, Norrish, Thow and Welsh
50 points plus Baillargeon, Welsh
Penalty Minutes 50 and over Thow
Penalty Minutes 100 and over Baillargeon
Congratulations Mark Matheson who achieved his 100th game in a Panthers shirt.

Here's a new one. Who assisted on whose goals, at even strength. For example, Matt Myers has scored 9 ES goals this season. The assists on those goals have come from Norrish, 1, Brassard, 1, Matheson 2, Thow, 2 etc, reading L-R. Myers has assisted on 1 goal by Lee, 1 by Massy, 1 by Lane, 4 by Tousignant etc, reading north to south. Welsh/Boivin and Lane/Baillargeon are the 2 "hottest" pairs. Attachments:

I have Brassard, Boivin and Baillargeon all on 10 points in Cup. But no way was he ‘top points scorer’ it was Welsh.

St. George's day play off bout sees Flames v Panthers come up with a first leg draw at 4-4. Not many of those in Ice Hockey of course.
Matt Myers now has 619 appearances for the club overtaking Stephen LEE ON 618. Is now 5 games behind Zamick in 4th place. He is also equal 12th with Simon Hunt with 399 points in all-time stats for the club. 10 behind 11th place Kenny Westman.
Also one goal behind Gerry Watson who is in 17th place in all-time lists for that category.
WC group 2B now completed with Iceland promoted.
